Richard presents well but he doesn’t put his listening ears on when anyone has the audacity to express concerns about his approach to certain aspects of life. It’s his way or the highway way and that’s plain immature. I felt so sorry for Andy, she was quite reserved in the face of him shouting and stonewalling her.

I felt really sorry for Richard, his relationship started so well, he seemed shocked and confused when everything turned. He was a little inappropriate at times but instead of calmly talking to him, AndI went into a sulk. I liked her and maybe she is more suited to Timothy but I don’t think she handled her relationship well, Richard obviously really liked her, it’s a shame they couldn’t end their time as friends.

Unfortunately, Richard started out his partnership based entirely on physical sex, which is rarely going to evolve into' a good, lasting relationship. Jack set a better example, he has self control and also respect for his 'wife' by giving them both time to get to know each other first. Richard should never have spoken out abt his sex-life on public TV like that... he totally embarrassed her, made her feel like a troll. Nevertheless, I wish them both well.

@@yunginspirit3162 tbh, I think he got caught up in the moment, everyone was talking about sex, they were all a lot younger, also the programme seems set up for this, especially with intimacy week. I don’t think he tried to make her look bad, I think he actually liked her. As for Jack and Tori I’m not so sure about the slow burn, I don’t think he was sexually attracted to her at first, not sure how that relationship will go, all I will say is that they are well suited. I’m not sure the matching was as good as it could have been this series.

I respect him for that. This show has descended into the lowest grade lately. I much prefer to watch Farmer wants a wife.

There's a real good-hearted honesty about Richard. It is disappointing to hear about all the petty gossip and inability of the other older contestants that were painted well but who couldn't keep confidences. I can tell Timothy loves the gossip though. lol

So interesting to hear his reading on Jack and Tori. These "behind the edits" are really watchable. I'm much more interested to hear what really happened vs the onscreen edited version. The way that Nine edits certain people to appear as villains/smug/toxic is the real toxicity. Especially because it's done on purpose in the clear light of day. They are choosing to put the teenage dramas in the centre of the show. Even though the message is supposedly that toxicity is wrong, they normalise that it's entertaining and watchable. It's totally screwed up 🤮.

What gets me is the jono and elle thing some how is worse than ALL the shitty things jack said and did . I think everyone was shocked because he was the nice guy . You just know jacks behaviour is who he is, so no shoke there . But jono just having enough being a door mat and reacting to it poorly is shoking.

This season really kind of got a bit boring near the end. I think the editing has turned a bit formulated and stale. The edit steers the show so much ,I hope they switch it up next season.

Great interview guys! Really enjoyed the questions asked. Also Andy went overboard re complaining about what Richard said. She will not be happy with anyone. Lost time for her as Richard is a nice guy. Not his fault she is carrying all this past trauma. You dont go on shows like this. What did she expect...

Lucinda is a sweetie and I really hoped her and Tim would work . In the UK we havent seen the final vows or even homestay yet . But I doubt if they will stay together . As much as he likes her he needs a partner and not a therapist. Andi is more his type. But Lucinda would be great on the experts panel !!

What drives me nuts is showing whats to come at the start then half the show is showing the last episode .And actually no real new content. Then dragging out what was shown at the beginning too the very end.so all and all very repetitive and nothing like why i started watching mafs Australia in the first place. And now i really think its all fake

I do think the ' contestants ' on the show this year were really weird. The oddest bunch yet. They have got to stop calling it an experiment. It's not, it's a game show, for entertainment.

What was upsetting is that Richard would not truly listen and absorb what Andrea was saying and he kept speaking over her to repeat the same things and say what he thinks is going on with her and the situation and NOT listening to her when she is TRYING to tell him exactly what she was feeling and the situation. Was very frustrating. They had so much potential in those moments but he could not truly listen to her. It was tough to see. They are both beautiful people and still my fave couple. I didnt wanna watch the show after they left!

Great to hear someone call out the hypocritical treatment of jack and tori! Been saying that all season Tim calling out their sex life despite not even kissing his wife….

In the end, I had no respect for the 3 Psychologists (or whatever they were) running the show. All they could do was criticize and pick on Jack and Tori (and others) when it wasn't necessary or the correct thing to do. Much better if the 3 could offer some good advice and or encouragement to couples instead of making disparaging, juvenile comments, especially to and about Jack and Tori. Jack and Tori were the best couple on the show and I am so happy that they are still together.

Ok but Jack was not misunderstood. He showed his true colors multiple times and then he wanted people to feel sorry for him. He's not a good person. Richard is just set in his ways. I don't think Richard is a bad guy at all. I just dont think Andrea and Richard had anything in common.

Who do you trust? maybe not people you've not known for around 4 weeks.... they are literally total strangers and then now speaking as if it is some great betrayal that they speak to other people. Richard seems utterly incapable of taking responsibility in this interview.

Jack and Tori were and are still my favorite couple! I was quite impressed in the very beginning of MAFS when it showed Jack's parents wishing him well before he left for the show. I liked the way the parents gave Jack their trust and full support...they were so genuine and you could tell that Jack had the same love and respect for his parents. Tori was a very wise and cluey woman and I'm so glad she stuck with Jack. I wish them both well for the future! Go get 'em guys!

I really liked Richard. Although his relationship started out positively, when it took a turn it didn’t really make that much sense to viewers and he seemed pretty confused himself? Aside from the big blow up at the Skye suites between them the edit didn’t show viewers much else to make it make sense. Given the nature of the show and the fact you sign up to disclose all aspects of the marriage I fail to see how Andy could get upset about discussing their intimacy on the couch during intimacy week? Everyone was having fun with it and he was in the moment talking freely & lightheartedly. I liked them both but clearly they aren’t meant for one another. I hope Richard finds love and companionship outside of the show because he really does love deeply.

Do you think the Jono text scandal came out of the blue? Or it was the producers pushing them to that story line? Cause it's always so convenient that this stuff always happens when it does. Like how Eden told Jayden about Sara seeing her husband, but she suddenly got this inability to keep a secret and had to tell her Husband for some reason. She told him about it and then when they told the group, their story changed and it was Jayden taking the wrap saying he accidentally looked at her phone. However then it became his fault giving her a panic attack over having to tell Tim..... Like hang on none of this story makes sense. Why is Jayden getting the blame now? He was covering your arse. The experts and the producers forgot about all this and then it became more me Eden..... Oh and oh the panic attack Eden story line just vanished into thin air afterwards. Funny no panic attack at the wedding, no panic attack at the final vows or at any point.... Only when it suits the story.

The whole production phone thing is why I do not believe any text scandal. We all know the producers are looking at their phones to check up on them and I remember hearing in one podcast that they had to hand in their phones too. Lauren never did care for Jono, they were both hamming it up for the cameras and saying "stay" to get to the end.

Well he is completely wrong jack and tori are not the only two still together so are Jade and Ridge , Eden and Jayden and Elle and Jonathan

The best reality show ever only because of Lucinda and Timonthy! We all need a Lucinda in life. MAFS Australia is the best...the US version is so boring! I dont care for Richard. I think it says alot of who you value as value...

Jono and Lauren had a pact to stay in and say yes, there never was any love there and they were just friends. All the drama between them was fake and most of it was done in the edit. We constantly saw them have all this drama, but joking and laughing together throughout the entire show, including the very end. I remember seeing in the background of one of the shots, Jono was talking to Sara and Lauren that were sitting on the couch just after him and Ellie came in.... So he did say hi to them and Lauren was covered by someone, by Sara was laughing..... So you have to imagine so was Lauren. Like how the edited it to make it look like Jono didn't defend Lauren, but he did say to Jack "don't talk to my fing wife like that". However the story because no back bone Jono, but he did have one lol.... And all the cast say Jono was the most vocal and yet he was silenced in the edit. THE SHOW IS FAKE GUYS!

Andrea lost my vote the minute she was sniggering when he was upset and crying. Most of the time after that she was trying to stifle a snigger.

Well spoken , Richard, about Jack and Tori. You expressed my sentiments as well as to how they were scapegoated. The others were trying to keep the reality of their relationships not noticed if they kept pointing at Jack and Tori, AND I think the so-called expert, John, and even the women were wrong in their evaluation of Jack and Tori. Everyone takes their own time and good on them for doing so.
