    Procrastination is worse than being lazy. When you're lazy, you do move, but slowly. When you're procrastinating, you don't move, you keep postponing and you only start moving once it's too late.

    @JohnnyNatrium

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@malikh7761 Well cause it's one thing to be an amazingly talented card magician, but the guy, like many magicians, clearly wants to be seen as more. He gets a black belt, he now wants mafia-story style cred to be taken more seriously. He does what old men do. He tells tall tales. Actually it also reminds me a bit of those guys that get out of prison and actually get interviews where they talk about how they constantly karate-chopped groups of 10 people all on their own, while they were just "minding their business". None of these exciting stories have ever been corroborated nor would you find anything about it on his wiki or bio or anything. It's no surprise of course, since you couldn't find a casino where they blackjack with just one deck. And you'll notice he can 'only' do his tricks with one deck. A very talented man in his field, but his stories to me are just a distraction like I have to humour him by listening to them. On the other hand the stories seem to be what makes at least 90% of his fans be so passionate about him as to watch interviews. So maybe that's why he tells them.

    It's not that he "felt" it. Actually he didn't feel it, that's the reason he missed the riffle stacking with one card. He should have held back 4 cards but held back 5. When he missed the deal with one card, there's only one explanation for it. Riffle stacking is very basic, and tbh not that hard.

    Only my second video and I never heard of Patrick before but I recognize and appreciate the way he asks questions. You really get to see how people become the way they are. He doesn't lead them but allows them to share. I also think whoever is doing the production and editing is doing a stellar job. Great animations, vignettes, and call outs that keep you engaged thoroughly. Over all very impressed with the output and I look forward to more of these.

    Mr. Turner. I was watching this interview with a deck of cards in my hands and just doing Turner Second deals. At one point in the video, you discussed how your son was named; Aca Spades. For some reason, during your discussing, I decided to flip a card face up, and then kept face down dealing. I looked down and the card was the Ace of Spades. Wow. I told my wife and she said I should let you know. There is magic in the world. I use your techniques for bottom dealing as well and have been working on it for around 15 years. Thank you and I think you are a magnificent person. Stay safe. JD

    The thing I took from this video was how he said nothing is impossible which is kinda simple I know. The whole time I’m watching admiring this guy but also it shines a light on my own shortcomings and excuses I make for not going after my goals in life. When he said don’t let anyone tell you something is impossible I had a very important insight. I am the one who tells myself most that things are impossible. Not other people. I constantly have ideas I get excited about and then I squash them myself. I subtly hint them at my wife or friends and kinda hope they will be super supportive and motivate me like yeah absolutely do it! And then if they aren’t I don’t act on them... but why aren’t I already super positive and optimistic about my goals my SELF?? I need to become my biggest supporter not my biggest critique. And it all starts in my own head by having conversations with myself to set myself straight. If I want to do something it isn’t impossible at all, especially if someone else has done it already. Of course I can do it, I’ve just gotta keep doing it, persistently take actions rather than giving up before I’ve even started. I can do it, I will do it or die trying.
