SNL doesn't usually expect the cast to remember or even always know what they are going to say or do in a sketch so it's all on the teleprompter. Gwen thought when they had her come out that what was on the screen was for her so she went to hop in but it wasn't her que. You can actually hear her faintly start to say "Ladies-" and then catch herself. Peter's voice was just very loud over it. She continued like a boss but definitely didn't lip sing.

His machine-like movements are incredible he actually looks like a robot

I think my favorite part of this whole thing is Bobby’s confused “our intergalactic space pants.” Like he was trying to conduct his business, but he’s also a good audience member. What a guy.

I said it from the beginning - the best way to end that series would have been with a show-stopping musical number.

Me and my dad have been watching this skit since I was about 5. We both memorized all the lines and totally forgot about this. Was a great way to end my night with a smile.

The writers were heavily inspired by Devo for this song so Dinklage rolled with it, even incorporating the band's iconic moves.

From the wig to the pants to the incredible dance moves this skit makes my day 💕

That was top-tier acting by Peter Dinklage. The stupidity of the skit, combined with such seriousness, made it such an excellent performance. I won't be ever to forget Space Pants.

Sat at my desk in England and this is haunting my brain this morning, no idea why. So had to watch again all these years later. SPACE PANTS!

Do you see my pants No way You missed them! My pants are a tour of the solar system 😭😭😂 I absolutely love it!!! And when sais look at my pants with the eyes on your face then it was for a rhyme😭😂😂 The dance and the hand gestures just put everything together!

This is a better ending to game of thrones than the finale was.

Dinkliage is the man! Having Gwen at the end was perfect with her unique singing style. Thumbs Up. This was actually funny.

Stefon: "this place has everything: mafia interrogations, chairs, an ursia minor. And look over there! Is that Gwen Stefani? Yes, it's actually her." Meyers: "Okay, I have to ask. Peter Dinklage is one of a kind. First saw part of this as a clip on Imgur, and he looked so robotic, with such strict movement and dead eyes, I seriously thought it was a doll on like Robot Chicken until it cut to Pete Davidson and I was like "OH, SNL, that explains it." This is freaking AMAZING.
