Tell them you want a low fade with about a 3-4 on the sides and as less as possible on the top, also let them know that your going for a slickback. Works every time if your barber isn’t an idiot.

@@xerxgo898 I’m guessing you have long hair right? Or at least 4-5 inches. If you can comb your hair back nice on top then I wouldn’t risk getting it cut to much on top cuz then it’ll look retarded. If your hair is long then as less as possible is like less than an inch or even half inch, just enough to make your head look even

I think a slickback where the sides and the top are long enough to slickback, and the back is short to blend with sides and top. Basically, a full slickback with no fade, taper, or undercut.

It's very easy. I actually cut my own hair and gave myself a slick back style. It's kinda hard but what I mean is, it doesn't take much mental thought. Cutting hair is kinda easy as a male with shorter hair. The key is to remember where to place your hands when looking in a mirror
