Yes folks that’s right, tonight, in collaboration with our sponsors over at Swift Cola, WBDS, Berenger’s radio brings you a chilling story about the plague of crime that had seemingly overrun our wonderful city in the 1930s, with a closer look at one of Lost Heaven’s most notorious organized crime outfits. Thanks to the insights of our investigative reporters at The Lost Heaven Courier and details obtained from the LHPD’s own Detective John Norman, we are proud to bring you this tale of opportunity, family and cold blooded murder as we examine the criminal history of Thomas Angelo.

Best part about the final gunfight is the various gang members reflecting and majority saying they will miss him. Small touch but better shows how beloved he was by not just the don but his subordinates.

I really like Tommy's character. He's aware of his actions and doesn't want to kill any innocents or someone asking for mercy. Yet when he does it, he shows emotions that clearly he's disturbed about it.

This was awesome. The job that they did remaking this was amazing. Really making the story, a story, with actual characters. Not just Tommy being a good bad man 💀 and Sarah is a believable strong mob wife. The accents and dialogue is such an improvement.

@@ryanpulliam8987yeah he was the one mentioning the bank job more and more and how Salieri wasn’t cutting the guys in on the drug profits, I kinda liked the original better cause Sam said when it was diamonds instead of heroin Salieri was gonna cut them in when the diamonds were sold and that Tommy and Paulie didnt trust the Don. Now granted there’s no proof he was gonna cut them in but shows that if maybe they were a little more patient they could’ve lived longer

1:56:44 this was the moment that Tommy felt Betrayed. He is supposed to be the Dons right hand at this point of the story yet he filled in Sam before him. Even his expression says it all

I don’t think he was necessarily supposed to be the right hand at this moment. Frank Colletti makes it clear that he thinks Tommy is the most capable of the trio, but Salieri never outright says so himself even if he would agree. Around here, the 3 of them are on pretty even ground and though it seemed like Salieri was grooming Tommy to be that guy, you’re right all the sudden the boss is having secret discussions with Sam after Tommy had been doing ALL of the dirty work.

It has been fast becoming a pet peeve of mines, when devs aim to make their game as realistic as possible, but use fictional city names...like they create this backstory that he was born in Sicily, but the game will take place in fuck nut bay, New York, some magical unheard of city within New York city...just use the real damn name guys, there isn't a copyright on state, city, or town names lol

Believe it or not, as dumb as it is, game developers do need to get permission to use or at least show real world locations. I don't know if you've ever played the 2018 Spider-Man game by Insomniac or its 2020 spinoff centered around Miles Morales, but there was a well-known New York building they could not reuse from the original game to the spinoff: the Chrysler Building. After Insomniac's first Spider-Man game released, the Chrysler Building changed owners in 2019 and Insomniac had to reach out to the new owners to get permission again to use the place as part of their fictionalized New York map. They couldn't get it, so the Miles Morales game has a generic-looking replacement for what should be the spot for the Chrysler Building instead of the real thing (though strangely enough, the PS5 remaster of the original game kept the Chrysler Building and Insomniac apparently didn't get in trouble as far as I have been able to find). I know that comparison of replacing one whole building vs making up a whole new place isn't the same thing. The whole point of all this is to illustrate why developers don't use real-world locations for a lot of games.

@@CompositeCreativity I understand having to get permission to use individual buildings, but who has the right to Brooklyn New York, or Los Angeles? I always thought devs did it for creative purposes, and to not hamstring themselves during development

It avoids alot of copyright/legal stuff. Using cities requires permission from the city so the city can monitor and control how their city is potrayed in media and buildings/places often have trademarks/copyright on them, their architecture or aspects of their design. For example the Eiffel Tower in France itself isn't copyrighted but it's lights are, which is why in media the Eiffel Tower is using not shown at night or the lights are off at night to avoid needing permission.
