I just went down a rabbit hole of its history. It all sounds dire, but I'm under the impression there are other buildings in the world with a far darker history than that one and are still maintained and up and running, or whatever. A couples of incidents and a death, now they wanna tear it down?

for some reason I find tony to be a more interesting villain/capo than most of sal's allies and sal himself (alongside giorgi). from his stoic personality, keeping business in check, being the marcano's evil genius, and being defiant till the end when he was dying until he was thrown out the hotel window.

Did anyone notice Tony is changing his accent depending on the person he's talking to? He slipped from a German accent at 0:35 into English the more he talked with the first guy, at 1:46 he went American in response to Dominic, and from 6:58 onwards he was calming Lou in a Southern Dialect.

he really felt like a boss fight too, it was more than just a normal straight up gun fight, how clever he was but also brutal. knowing you are coming as soon as you get on the elevator, like if you sneak past his guards and get to him they all then come up behind you, after he opens the fight with a fricken rocket launcher.

I think I did. I remember everywhere Souther Union or Dixie was, I gave to Cassandra, as a sign of who really was in Charge. The northern and east to Burke then the south and middle to Vito. Anyway all got equally amount of districts to control.

Shooting a LAW rocket in close quarters like this can set people on fire or send loaded crates flying. Chances are the glass was compromised by the backblast.

He and Remy were the best villains. I felt true evil from them.

One of my favorite missions. I prefer the stealth approach at first to get inside and kill off the thugs with a throwing knives and Binya Uzi silencer.( you can get the throwing knives and the Binya silencer if you download the DLC's to the game by completing the extra chapters stories) It savors the mission and it's more fun. Then... After killing Tony Derazio I always finish off the rest of Tony's goons in the lobby. Usually it starts with a voodoo doll throw to get most of them together, followed by a hand grenade. BOOM! At least 9 of them KIA with 1 blast. Finish off the rest and the ones outside The Royal Hotel with the AK-47, call in a muscle car to be parked out front..Gone before the cops get there! Start this mission quietly then finish it off with a bang!! Makes Lincoln look more a bad Mofo than he already is leaving the Hotel at the front door. Love this game!!

While the racket and takeover missions might be tedious and repetitive , I actually like those "optional" stuff so we can adjust the difficulty to our style (just go through storyline mission with no perks or nail everything and beat the story mission like a boss).

I gave all my underbosses the districts that suit them best. Vito gets Southdown and Downtown. Burke gets Tickfaw and the French Ward Cassandra gets Barclay and Frisco.

Giving downtown & southdowns to vito makes some sense cause the mob back then had rackets like them so why not give it to a mademan, burke gets tickfaw and the ward cause he owns a chopshop so why not plus i wouldn't be surprised if burke wanted to die let be a warm bed of party sex booze and drugs, and for cas she wants gun give her barclay and she can make racists go away with garbage and frisco she could get white people addicted to pcp as a little revenge and think olivias mission like this... everyones out of thier in that mission, what are they gonna think they got drugged or it was a curse brought down by her voodoo powers as revege for the other racket some of them are racist so prey on the white mans superstitions
