Friends for Life will always have a place in my heart as one of the best free roam mods out there during Mafia II's peak.

A message from the Mafia 2 Final Cut developers on Discord, "Bugs will be fixed, new content will be added (like a working subway), as well as beta filter installation, sounds and interface will be optional and you can customize the game as you want." Hopefully they add the cathouse and ability to purchase cars in Free Ride just like the Friends for Life mod.

Friends For Life is very good gives you cheats and immense possibilities, but this one seems more lore-friendly as an official free ride would be.

If only this was the rewarding option you get after finishing the main story line. It makes sense for mafia 1 definitive edition.

Now Vito Can Do Some Little Trollin' Around Empire Bay.

I really hope we will get a vito and joe dlc for mafia 4 it even makes sense if its in empire bay

Also I wished Vito could take train travel options to certain cities. Like lost heaven or New Bordeaux. Imagine the alternate timeline missions. Even have him join forces with Jimmy from his Jimmy DLCs.

Jimmy's story is not even canon like why they did it 😅 Sometimes i think after writing chapter 13 the game shifted to another dev team, which did Henry dirty and all the rest.

@@nitrosodium A lot of DLC missions are cuted missions from standard Mafia 2 . Only missosns with specific cutscenes whas made specially for DLC.

Traveling to other big cities would've been too much for the PS3/360 era to handle. Besides, New Bordeaux didn't "exist" at that time. And don't get me started on Jimmy. He's just Vito with a new voice actor and a replaced head model. His missions are cut main and side missions from the main game.

In this Mod i miss the Content of friends for life . And that mod is not longer running with this version of Mafia. So i hve to choose.

Do you have time cycle in the free roam?

Rest in peace, Friends For Life...but still, the FFL has some features that better than the Final Cut free ride

I'm pretty sure Free Ride got taken out to make way for DLC, this reminds me a lot of Friends for Life, glad though they have included it

Very nice I was on the night wolves stream and they leaked (from the pictures, because i cant speak russian): untextured steelworks, Richard becks realty office, 2 subway entrences and rest of the Sicily map

maybe the developer doesn't want the player to be happy that's why free roam is cut in mafia 2

I've just downloaded the mod how can i find the dlcs ( i already have them in my clean non modded copy) I can't find them

I also hope that they fixed the infinite loading screen after completing chapter 9.

Free Ride gets unlocked after finishing the story or something? I installed the mod, everything looks fine while playing the story, but no Free Ride.

Hey MGV i have a suggestion but i don't know if it's possible or not. This mod disables all DLCs (Especially JA DLC, i don't care about Jimmy'S DLCs which is not canon to the story and filled with boring side quests). But at least JA DLC has 4 story missions including: Witness, Connection, Supermarket and Cathouse. Night Wolves can bring these missions to the main story right after chapter 5 and before chapter 6. Like you complete the buzzsaw chapter and you suddenly play as Joe finding out why Vito is being locked up. This method can add a bit suspension and a little expansion to the main story and not removing the whole DLC. And sorry about my bad English.

Please how I can download Vito's jacket? I have got a this mod but I haven t got this jacket in game :(

Not that I know of. Hopefully they add a 5 star wanted level and utilize the swat npcs from JA DLC.

Looks very promising. If they manage to put everything in it will be great. Im just afraid it will again NOT work for DE...

He has nothing. I checked him and Derek prior to recording. You can still crush cars and sell cars for money.
