Why in mafia 2 remaster hangar 13 make vito face expression in the ending (joe wasnt part of pur deal) different than the regular, i mean in the remaster vito looks shocked worried, and the casual mafia 2 vito looks so much angry and furious What do you think ?

Honestly, after completing mafia DE 6 times I learned how to play without takeing no damage either, you get to learn the enemies attak patterns, once you RLY learn, its very hard to not be good, I played hotline miami 4-5 years ago or so, stopped after mastering it, even now i remember every attack pattern, its amazing what trial and error can do to the brain

The stairway to heaven is very hard ..died multiple times. But this one ,could not make past the the observatory building entrance. Died 10 times already. Will try tomorrow 😀

MGV, and Mafia 2 was not supposed to end in 1951, just like you did a mafia 2 cut content, mafia 2 was supposed to end 2 years later (1953), 3 years later (1954) or 4 years later (1955). Just like mafia 1, after tommy kills sam, the game will travel 13 years later, in 1951, the ending explains: Tommy in prison (Original and Remake) Tommy Wedding (Remake Only) Tommy death by Vito and Joe (Mafia 2 chapter 14, Original and Remake).

Why does Vito take Carlo's death so personally? I mean, he says he's doing for him when actually he's doing for the commission lol, this smells like cut content. He says as if he was avenging someone, and this only could be Henry, but he's a rat so this doesn't make sense.

Think its the cumulation of how Vito, for all the game, has been pointing his gun because somebody else told him to, the army, Clemente, Carlo, Leo. Has for nearly a decade, he's been killing others for money, family, prestige. But this kill... this one is for him. Not so much of anything Carlo said or did overall, though I suspect Vito certainly felt Carlo's speech of how he's a pawn to everyone get to him. Especially once he sees at the end that Joe wasn't part of his deal with Leo.

You know, I wonder what Leo was up to while out of Empire Bay, considering his position in Mafia 3 with the commission that meant Sal called him when things turned against him. Carlo has a point in how Vito was never more than a pawn to the mob, that they were using him and wouldn't forget everything that happened in the game. Which makes the ending hit all the harder. Even so, Leo didn't have to go out of his way for Vito; he could have let Frank and the Chinese kill him for all the things that happened, course making Joe pay the price was always going to make Vito hate his guts as we see in Mafia 3. But because of Vito saving his life, he does for him in return, which considering how often the mafia doesn't adhere to the values they claim to have, shows Leo has some measure of integrity to him and affection for Vito. Though mixed in with keeping the dole running since Mafia 3 showed he wasn't adhered to not dealing drugs as his old friend was. But I do wonder about some of the actions Leo takes between here and Mafia 3, sending Vito down to New Bordeaux, the men supposedly involved with Joe's "death" being sent down there at the same time Lincoln and Vito are rising up. That he had Joe as his driver at the end when meeting Lincoln and so on. All coincidence? Or him possibly wanting to give Vito "closure" while at the same time, keeping Joe away from him or under his thumb? Either way, Leo clearly leaves a large shadow over the Mafia series with his actions here, and I'm hoping Mafia 4 will tie into it in some way.

And Besides, Vito Is One Of The Most Dangerous Mobsters Out There He Just Doesn't Have The Name, Because He's A "Small Fish" I Mean, C'mon, Vito Singlehandedly Killed The Greasers, Chinese And Don Clemente And Falcone Himself, I Feel Bad For Him, Because He's Being F@cked By Other People Since 1943. We Can See In Mafia 3 That He Was Strong Enough To F$ck With Sal Marcano And Smart To Make A Profitable Business In A Favorable Turf And Laying Low, Nobody Knew His Strength And The Other Marcano Members Were The Opposite, Always Flashing Their Wealth And Power Practically Screaming: "Kill Me" And If You Let Vito Run The City While You Escape (That One Alternative Ending) He Administrate Everything Better Than Lincoln Himself. If Vito Had A Opportunity To Become A Don, I Think He Would Be Almost As Strong As Vinci Or Even Idk, Corleones? And His Companion, Joe, He Was A Great Friend, But 70% Of Vito Getting F$cked Was Because Of Joe's Bad Planning And Heated Personality, If Vito Had A Partner Like Donovan They Would Have Killed All The Gangs And Families In Empire Bay In 1951. That's Just My Opinion, Of Course.

@@chriscormac231Very true that, its another of those parts of Mafia that we are left to work out for ourselves or at least theorise in, which is what I like about the series in many ways.

Another fun fact about this mission: While free roaming in chapter 15 you can actually go and visit Derek at this office and he'll give you the same "no work" line as he always does. Even though you obviously killed him in the previous chapter. Just another thing that shows how the released game was a bit thrown together. They took what was finished and pieced together a different game out of it, but they forgot to take some remnants out. "Artifacts of grander plans" is a good way to sum it up.

I wish we got freeride in this game but we never got it but this chapter was amazing because of the cliffhanger

I always feel bad for Falcone actually. All this because Scalleta brought a rat to the family.

Life in the Mafia, not just the Mafia. Triads, Yakuza, Cartels, any organized crime there's really no such thing as true friendship in that kind of life. It's terrible, you live in constant fear that someone's gonna kill you or rat you out resulting in imprisonment. And leaving the world of crime behind, the world of crime never forgets you. The whole reason why Vito joined the Mafia was to earn money to pay off his dad's debt and when Vito joined the Mafia, he can't get out of that life because Vito earned more money than working in the docks but Vito did get what he wanted: A good life with easy money to earn, cars, house, and so on but it even came with bad things, people dying, imprisoned, and other negative things. Crime games like Mafia II teach you a moral lesson: Crime doesn't pay. Vito's life in the Mafia has more trouble than benefit.

@@spqr05 Hey, man. Don't be a fanboy hater of Mafia 3. I know all the flaws that the game had and still has, like some bugs and glitches still in the game, the lack of interaction of the world, and the mediocre AI from the civilian NPC's. But despite that, I really LOVE Mafia 3, despite the flaws that it has. I really like the story of Lincoln Clay and his revenge against the Marcanos, and I even the enjoyed the gameplay, specially after they added some clothing and vehicles customization. Yes maybe the game wasn't perfect, nor superior than Mafia 2, I still believe that Mafia 3 already earned its place in the franchise, no matter all the people like you trashing it.

Now it's easy to say Leo fucked Vito and Joe but he really really helped them in my eyes he cared for Vito like a son and really put Vito on his road to being boss if you go with the leave town scenario in mafia 3 which I feel is canon

Mafia 3 should have been a continuation to where Mafia 2 left off , that would be a good story to follow up , Mafia 2 had a great atmosphere to it.

It was in a way with Vito being in the game, Leo having major influence over a number of things and the revelation near the end of the game. Even more so if you believe the theory of Joe possibly having a kid around 41.

Such a lousy and lazy ending, no epilogue or any sort of monologue at all. I find it funny that so many people got pissed at Mass Effect 3's ending yet this game gets a free pass.
