Great review Brad! This figure looks sculpted to absolute perfection! It's like Dan Jurgens's artwork jumped out the pages of the comic and turned into a figure.

Glad you pointed out how nice the knees look when bent. MAFEX takes the time to make the articulation look good when you use it, unlike some other companies that just cut the sculpt haphazardly without any regard for what the articulation looks like when you use it (cough McFarlane). It’s a shame these figures are as expensive as they are tho

Agreed, that's my issue with Mafex too, they make a nice figure, but for that money, it better be a DAMNED nice figure

I was a marvel guy but honestly it was this channel that pushed me towards the dc side more and I love ya dedication to DC .. yea on one hand it limites the channel but on the other end its what separates you from all the others. If I want a opinion on a dc release I know you are the guy to go to !

great review!!! I had the kenner one back in the day and yeah, it was pretty fantastic. I just got the mafex one 2 days ago and i haven't had much time to play around with it. but I LOVE it. it's pretty much perfect.

that is cool figure never been up on the Mafex stuff but they always look nice. shame they didn't include a removable silver band for the leg as a homage to the Kenner figure

so great I got 2 just so I could use the neck peg from him to head swap with the hush superman 🔥

I still regard the DC Direct Cyborg Superman to be the best Superman figure ever made but I’m excited to collect every figure in this line.

Awesome Review Brad but you did see if you can put the mullet head on the hush body to have a 90's classic Superman.

Damn that silver! That is as close to chrome as I've seen so far. It rivals Hasbro's silver paint!

This is what I want Mcfarlane to make the iconic designs vs the mediocre designs. When he does they look off in proportions and missing little details that could make the figure pop out more.

Just as a weird note: I usually watch KZread toy reviews routed through my Roko on my big tv. I have tried this video 3 times over 2 days, and it scrambles and locks up at like 47 seconds in and won't play. I ended up just watching it on my phone, and it worked fine there. This is the first time I've seen this problem, just thought I'd share the experience in case others have it too.

Can you headswap the Black Suit head onto the Hush Superman body? To give it the 90s JLA vibe?

If Mafex makes Steel, they have to make him the tallest figure, taller than Michael Jordan cuz he’s inspired by Shaq. Currently waiting for my Long Hair Black Suit Superman. I SOOOO want Mafex to make Superboy.

P.s. your chromed out steel looks fantastic, tracking down mine at a decent price with the hammer was such a nightmare at the time I wouldn't have the heart to paint it!

…this figure should not be $104 on BBTS. Night wing shouldn’t be either. Seriously there’s not enough in the box to justify even $90. Both of them should be at most $70-$80. As much as I love mafex I don’t know if I can justify $104 for nightwing…but I probably will anyway cause otherwise I’ll have to pay inflated secondary prices. But definitely not for black suit superman.

If you were to pick Mafex off the shelf like a Marvel Legends in Japan, they retail about $70 only reason they are $100 is because BBTS is importing them over hence the price hike

Garbage !! I can’t stand how they try to change all these classic super hero characters. Come out with your own super hero don’t change from the original. That goes for all, Batman & robin, Spider-Man the Incredible Hulk , aquaman , Wonder Woman etc…. Pure ugliness and garbage!!
