Lol big facts! Worth the buy here to own the definitive 6 inch Magneto figure.

I think the feet and the boots are painted the same color, but they're molded in different colored plastic which is why they look a little different in certain lighting. Overall it doesn't bother me, though. My only wish is I'd have wanted the angry head to have whited out eyes like the Jim Lee X-Men #1 cover. But overall, it's my figure of the year so far and I don't see anything toping it anytime soon. I would love a MAFEX Apocalypse. But since they don't normally do characters that big, I'd like to see them do Mr. Sinister, Mystique or Omega Red.

A MAFEX Omega Red would be nuts. And I'd like to see their attempt at Sabretooth, but MAFEX has a habit of making their bulkier characters really short (see Venom and Thor)

My sentiments exactly with this figure! There hasn’t been a perfect iteration of Magnus until NOW!

I own both the Mafex AOA and Mafex Comic version. AOA is my favorite version of Magneto stroywise. So for me the AOA was a dream come true. I can't choose which one I like better. These two are the definitive Magento figures. There are none better.

What ML failed with all their Magneto figures are the relatively small legs, especially in the thigh area. This is partly due to the way Hasbro does the articulation. Not to mention, the thigh also protrude out affecting the proportion even further. Mafex fixes this with their articulation and MEATY THICK thigh which is how Magneto is always depicted. I have seen somebody uses Can of Beam pointing clear energy FX to make it seem like his helmet is hovering above his hand. Awesome review!

I’m definitely getting one of these. I personally want mafex to make a comic book version of the flash next (I want the Geoff Johns run on Wally West personally but I’ll settle for new 52 Barry Allen).

Arghh. I’m working on my review of this and didn’t notice the ankles. It’s super rare for me to watch a review while I’m working on one for the same figure but o wanted to see what you did with the wired cape. Great review and he’s one of the few I’d give that price point.

Marvel legends team should take note and make Him on the Vulcan Body which you already showed... you said only X-men villains next should be Juggernaut but if you said any marvel villains then Dr.Doom 😅 since his the Goat of villains.

The eyes make it look cartoonish..rest is almost done well. Talking about the torso, even tho ML doesn't get the buff part their musculature is correct, on Mafex the abs does not feel complete as it's missed completely on the diaphragm area. Loved you photos at the end, especially the one on the diao pieces from Toybiz era. :)

Love this figure and would love from mafex to tackle sabertooth

Id really like if hasbro reused their unmasked head with the new face printing. If they used an updated grim reaper or the new Sentry body, I think that'd capture the brickhouse linebacker Jim Lee Magneto. I just really need a budget option lol. I love this one but I can't swing it at all. The sparky effects remind me of MvC. The KOF storm effect is just perfect too. And I usually dont like wired overly thick capes but it works here. I feel like Sabertooth is my biggest answer for next Mafex Xmen villian. The hyperion ML looks just tiny and out of place now unless they make a new one on the Omega Red body

When posing your figs do you ever get into the pose yourself? To kinda work out how you want it to look ?

Storm Collectibles Omega Rugal Gravity Smash Effect

Certainly top 10 contender for figure of the year! The definitive Magneto finally. Magneto is in my top 3 marvel villains as well. I am a bit annoyed that everyone seems to think he's supposed to be super muscular. That wasn't always the case, until Jim Lee drew him in the 90s. After all, when do you ever see a jacked up old man? The marvel legends one was a decent update for it's time, but this is the one. I'm actually fond of the toybiz legends magneto. Not a fan of the iron man body reuse, but it didn't look terrible. Now the 1st hasbro magneto was atrocious with the tiny ass head.

Happy birthday!!! By the way, where are you allocating this Magneto in your collection? Is he going to substitute the Marvel Legends one in your display?

And Magneto with the ST Rugal effect parts is also exactly what I would do too.

I ended up getting a recast of the Legends Magneto head for my family matters pack Magneto. Since I painted myself, it doesn't have the seam line, or odd eyes. The Mafex had for sure looks better.
