they done really really good jobs on this mark 50 than previous one, better masked headsculpt detail, better shoulder pad, better paint quality(but still looks too bright and the gold is not as shiny as what they did in promo picture)

See it in person. The colours are not as bright as on this video and quite accurate. The shoulder pads are a lot better like you said. Only thing wrong with mine is that crunching the torso forward has scuffed the paint. The materials are still light but an improvement on the MK85 as well. I wonder if they add any of these improvements to the battle damaged MK85 version as well?

​@@cookedit maybe they would improve their painting like what they did on the latest Spider-Man figure. And about mark 50, when I first saw the promo figure in the exhibition, it was darker and much more shiny, so I hope that the final product will look almost as same as what they did on that

Can the mark 50 weapon accesories be used on Mafex mark 85?

Hi there. Nice review. I decided to buy the Mark 50 from Amazon JP but the box was beat to heck (and opened) by DHL and repackaged. So I don't feel confident I got everything. So I have a question, for al Mark 50 owners: Does the Mafex Mark 50 come with an instruction sheet? Thanks!

I wish it came with instructions. It's basically a just figure it out kinda figure and you have to guess how everything goes and is put together. I'm pretty sure there are some parts I got wrong but I tried using the movie as reference to see how everything looked.

Is paint chipping a problem or anything you noticed?

The only big issue i have ran into is shoulder pads popping off if they get snagged or they get stuck under his back or chest pieces if. Other then that no issues of paint chipping. There is some red on just over the left eye on mine but it's so slight it's not worth worrying about it unless you examine teh figure through a microscope.

Is it that same cheap light plastic like the other iron man?

Amigo, El mk50 de la maraca ZDtoys con licencia, es mucho mejor que el de mafex , al menos trae luces y la calidad de pintura es sublime.

El De ZDTOYS es superior, tanto en precio, como en pintura y si tiene luces . No como el de Mafex🤮

Easy pass for me I almost pre ordered this Now atleast i didn't regret it There's a lot of flaws in this figure 1.paint is too bright it doesen't even look like a cherry red or hot rod red ,it's more of a bright orange which makes it look like a mcdonald's toy - which is a deal breaker for me 2.shoulder pads are inaccurate , big gaps and sticking up 3.eyes look dead needs more lighting 4.paint details aren't sharp as it's suppose to be For the almost 150$ this ain't worth it There are tons of other brand that is 10x way better than this specially the threezero mark L which is miles better than this crap

With all due respect you're wrong or exaggerating a lot of those points 1. This is definitely red. Maybe not movie accurate, but it definitely isn't orange. SHF's is also a bit too bright and ThreeZero's too dark. Only ZD Toys and Hot Toys seem to have got it correct. 2. Yes the shoulder pads should have been smaller and are too big, but sit flush and aren't gappy. 3. The eyes are also dead on the ThreeZero as well, unless you keep them constantly lit, which no one will. Only SHF have blue coloured eyes. 4. Paint details are fine. This videos brightness is set too high and the resolution only reaches 720p which might give a wrong representative of this figure. The Mafex figure costs *$103* excluding shipping, which is a lot less than $150. The ThreeZero with almost only half the accessories, costs *$180,* excluding shipping and is also at a different scale and so is the ZD toys. SHF's and Comicave's versions are the Mafex's equivalent which is better than both those in many areas.
