No, Mark needs to distance himself from Bert. He needs to move on from all his nonsense.

“Do what makes sense your family and don’t apologize for it.” As a divorced Dad who’s currently packing up the kiddos childhood home to downsize as I listen to this, it resonated a lot to hear that. Adulting sure is weird these days, thanks for making me feel normal. ❤

I've seen bits and pieces of her on her podcast, but it's nice to hear a full scale interview. It confirmed things that I thought about relationships with comedians, but also opened my eyes to things that I did not think about.

It's good to hear Mark's parents do appreciate what he does. They might just come off awkward and how Mark talks about it. But it's beautiful to see they're coming around. Mark Normand does make so many people laugh and we love him so much.

Great podcast! I can relate so much! My husband is an airline pilot, gone all the time. He was also in the military, so gone for months at a time. Mae’s story of partying hard, not being proud of her job at LinkedIn, is also sooo relatable to my own life. I love how open & vulnerable she was admitting that. Had no idea she was Mark’s wife, he is one of my favorite comedians 🩵 I stumbled on this podcast because of Bert, but stayed because of the great conversation between two beautiful, intelligent and hilarious women ❤ New subscriber here :)

Mae's a great complement to Mark. I think the closest to you ladies lifestyle is that of a military spouse. Much longer deployments than 3 weeks, single parenting off of often reduced income, some true adjustment for re-entry as you call it- with, and without, ptsd.

Just know LeeAnn that currently the Super Bowl is going on and you caught my attention more 😂❤

Try bed jet, it's not direct fan and it goes through a vent. You can control the temp and there is a filter. I sleep like a baby none stop. There's also another brand that's the mattress that has a cooling system.

This popped up in my youtube recommendations and I'm glad for that. I knew that Mark was married, but I didn't know anything about Mae. She seems like a really awesome person. Very down to earth, and level-headed. Also, I have heard of Leeann, but I didn't know anything about her either. My biggest takeaway from this podcast is that Leeann is really good at interviewing. She definitely has a knack for it.

I listen to both Tuesdays with Stories and We Might Be Drunk, so it's fun to finally hear Mae's side of some stories😂 Btw, those aren't "modern feminists" that are judging your job in makeup. Those are generic assholes! Real feminists will support you finding a career that you love. (And they would also support you having the choice to stay home with your child, once you have one). And this feminist right here would just quiz you about whether or not you get free makeup samples...You know, the important questions! lol

Yeah right? I get the impression that Mark doesn't enjoy Maes kind of comedy and I have heard him talk about her opening for him and how she does try to get him to help her, and really brought down the hammer for that ring. Wish there had been a q and a so we could get her side on some of these things.

My intuition is she went to salve Regina, great school my cuz wen lt there

I agree, the thought came to me prior to that segment. Not in a bad way at all, just that comedians schedules are so different (mine is as well , work at night) that being at the same clubs during the week you could get more time together.

I get that these two are probably very good friends, and I get that she probably didn't mean anything by it, but when you say something like you're married to one of my favorite people in the world, I love your husband", that comes across as so toxic.
