Idk how Madlib heard these little bits and pieces and did… this. As a beat maker myself it’s just incomparable.

@@taxi_vader have you ever tried taking a track, and just chopping it up into little stabs, laid them on an MPC, or any launch pad/midi device, and just messed with them? Don’t get the wrong idea, I’m by NO MEANS saying it’s easy whatsoever. But that’s what it comes down to, same way J Dilla made Don’t Cry off of Donuts, just tiny little stabs that have been rearranged in a manner that’s completely, YOU. Figure out what BPM you want to maintain, lay/loop your drums accordingly, and just have fun with the stabs.

I absolutely love these videos, it really gives you an idea of the mind of an experienced producer. Just a suggestion but You should do more projects by Madlib and other producers I think people would really appreciate it. Flat tummy Tea by Madlib, Backseat freestyle by hit boy, money tress by DJ dahi. Dope ass video keep up the good work!!!
