We were all audience members picked during the break, and we were given NO coaching and not even supplied with questions to ask. We all just made them up on the spot. It's very clear that it was not coached at all. The "this is math" and "Do I recognize you from Vietnam" and all the responses, are true reactions to the moment. This quality of political comedy would, sadly, be impossible to see in network TV today

Easy, because they didn't give a shit about it. 2004 was a time when they were banking off of reality TV shows and American Idol OC and the Simple Life and Mad TV wasn't in their radar. Once Warner Bros took over the show FOX refused to give any promotion and advertisement and the show began to decline further more into obscurity.

I've been saying this for a while now, but USA should introduce an age limit at running for the presidency. Just like one doesn't allow a 10 year old kid run the country, one shouldn't allow old farts with one foot in the grave and questionable mental capacity take charge.

I assume it's purposefully made so you have to be old enough to have been groomed an blackmailed an be heading towards dementia. That way they can slowly poison you an no one thinks it's odd when you become senile. The Democrats really picked dumb that year. Bush should have been an easily beatable candidate given the circumstances, but John Kerry was just an idiot who embarrassed the party into a second defeat. Then he became SOS later which was bad. Yes the Iran deal and other deals he made as SOS were terrible.
