Ughh no. You have too much adrenaline in you as you're getting a rush hearing this song. This is a cool dance song but it is a blatant theft of black house music from Chicago. As is the vouge moves that are also a blatant theft of black culture because it was particularly derived from gay black men. The song is a fraud and total plagiarism. This is a fact. @@ash27slick74 Guess who was/is one of the house music pioneer? Shep Pettibone... who wrote this with her. She also collaborated with him on 'Resue Me' . She stole nothing but introduced house sounds to mainstream radio stations in North America whereas they would refused this style of music up to that point. It didn't hurt with 'Pump Up The Jam and other great house sounds that followed after.

Let me start off by saying I've been in the music business since 1978 and I worked with numerous DJs, remixers and recording engineers and once again, let me solidify my previous post....This song is a blatant rip-off, plagiarism, duplicate and theft of black house music. The Vogue moves; Stolen from the gay black club scene; The house music riff; Stolen from the underground scene in Chicago. Here's what Madonna and her crew did back then...As you know Madonna was a very promiscuous woman, she also liked to go to the clubs on the regular but what she would also do is have her production team come to the clubs with hidden recording devices and bring the sounds back to the studio. Her team would then "Americanize" the sound for gullible, naive, uninformed mainstream White America. And as long as it was a white blonde chick singing, they fell for it just like you did. Your Shep Pettibone comment is useless, pointless and irrelevant in this discussion. All Shep did was remix the audio in the studio. Long story short..All Madonna did was ride the coattails of black music (which she has been doing her entire career), and watering it down for naive gullible White America. These are facts, good day.

I love her music in general, but for me this song and video made her career! It's totally FABULOUS on so many levels. Classic and iconic because it uses classic iconic images, with timeless style and the beat can make someone with no rhythm move their booty!!! It's infectious and magical! Never get tired of hearing this song or watching this video!

This is such a masterpiece of a song!!!! I wish she would go back to her roots.

In my personal opinion, probably the greatest 12 inch version of a pop record.

The kids these days don’t know about Madonna and how groundbreaking she was. ❤ Iconic

When I heard this song for the first time in 1990 as a 15 year old it just felt like it was so ahead of it's time. It's 2021 now and it still sounds fresh! She does a great rendition to the Hollywood golden era by mentioning some immortal artists from that time....maybe that is why this song will never die.
