I think back to a time that i cherish. Wish I could go back. Makes me tear up. The friends I had, knowing I can't go back, taking it all for granted. All I can do is appreciate what I had.

I close my eyes when I listen to this song and I am back to my childhood.. This song always brings tears to my eyes.... It is so very emotional...

This song has me cry sometimes. I told my son this song describes my feelings about life and getting older. All my memories are beautiful but they also make me sad too. A longing for what will never be again.

Rachel, we can't live in the past, we've got to move with the times. The world goes forward, not back, and we have to go with it. Have a few memories, by all means, but don't cling onto them too much.

This song take me back when I was young,the streets in Buffalo,New York. I lived on Michigan Ave friends play baseball, football and yes street hockey. I wish I could have those days back, but time moves on and waits for no one. The old block has changed and friends have passed away. I am the last person in the Blue family their was seven of us, my brother and sister just passed away and miss everyone of them but God have the plan for all our lives. Jesus is my lord and savior I pray that he keeps from all hurt. I have great wife and good kids and pretty granddaughter. I miss my family and friend from yesterday year but life moves on.

Can you imagine she is one of the only two survivors of the fantastic 5 (Prince, Mj, Whitney; Janet, Madonna). I hate her last 5 Albums but still, when I think about her leaving us, I start to choke! The image of her many heights are so larger than life that she will always be alive as long as I am alive! The only way I can forget the joyride that her career was, is to die myself! What a pleasure it was to be alive when she produced all those iconic works in music, video, film and Image... There will never be anyone like her! Never!

This is the long version..the original song lyrics don't have " Live and learn..... at around 2:30. Great song!

Someone stole her dream and made it a man's world. Why do they always say live in learn life is short forget the past.? This is her creation.. well that's too much to ask.
