Used to go to Danceteria in NYC in the 80's too! Madonna went to same dance classes with my sister and she was always very determined.
I vividly recall the first time I heard one of her songs. I was at Backstreet in Detroit. The song “Burnin’ Up” started, and EVERYONE raced to the dance floor. The screen dropped, the double gridded orange neon tubes started lowering, and it was like some cult of disco all worshiping their Goddess. I went out the next day to buy the album. I still get the same chills to this day whenever I hear it.

"Burnin' Up" was my introduction to Madonna also. My friends and I heard it at the club Hotbods, here in Phoenix, and the next day we were trying to figure out if "Madonna" was a new group or what, but we had to have that song. 40 years later, she is still Queen of the Dancefloor but "Burnin' Up" will always be my favorite.
I was 5 years old when Madonna blew up. After all these years, he personality hasn't changed.

Look at the current Madonna and look at Madonna from 1990 and try to get your head around the fact that they are the same person. I tried it and couldn’t do it

I like Madonna. Her music has been a part of my life for decades and I enjoy it and her creative expression as an artist. Ultimately, these are her choices, and she's entitled to them, as we all are. I think what might be throwing some people off, including fans like me, as this: putting aside the question of whether she is "too old" to be doing things she's doing or dressing this way, Madonna has long been known for being AHEAD of trends, or even setting them herself. She seemed very adept at reading the pop culture landscape and anticipating what the public would enjoy next. In my opinion, what she is doing right now seems like the antithesis of that ability. This appears dated and out of touch, two things that rarely described Madonna in the past. Moreover, she was also good about making a course correction when she did misstep, which is a reason her career has lasted this long. On the other hand, if she is really just happier this way, so be it and more power to her.
@srimaddukuri
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, umm, I think sycophantic sheep like you are helpless. You look for inspiration in all the wrong places. She’s just an insecure idiot. It’s unfortunate. But it’s as simple as that. So much for feminism. She functioned as a vehicle for globalists to destroy society, and proceeded destroying herself in the process. Liberalism is chewing itself apart. But that’s part of nature. And it’s funny watching nature take its course and the sheep keep making excuses and try their best to make sense of lunacy. Good luck with that.
I'm glad Madonna is still out here doing her thing. So many people take themselves so seriously, but the older she gets the less serious she seems to take things. Why should people lose their joy for life when they age? People expect female celebrities to basically drop dead or go into hiding after 30.

What you are saying is wise and accurate, but most people to some degree fear ageing, death and becoming invisible to the world. Madonna's fame and success over the decades have probably made her even more narcissistic. It's hard for famous people to feel medicare and move closer towards irrelevancy. It's very likely that Modanna still has the mind of a young woman who just wants to go on and keep being revered. As harsh as it sounds, it's a very competitive industry for female artists, and having beauty is a big plus, but when youth fades, it can cause a precipitous decline in their status. Reality is a bitch that we all have to make peace with.

@@sydneylaroche8276 , To be honest, I don't think Madonna is that smart in my opinion. Like a lot of celebrities, it's clear that Madonna is wasting time and money with too much cosmetic surgery. However, it's possible to delay ageing through smart lifestyle choices like intermittent fasting. For example, if you do consistent resistance training, and aerobic exercise in conjunction with fasting, it will have amazing benefits in keeping you younger for longer. However, it's really important to research and study fasting properly to avoid the negatives of getting it wrong. I highly recommend a guy called Siim Land, I believe he's about 40 or 41 years old, but he looks like a guy who's in his early twenties. His success at warding off ageing is gaining a lot of attention. kzread.info/dash/bejne/omtlyqSOfZzZfMY.html
