Her kids are so lucky. Most of us cant go back and see what our parents were really like. I often wonder about what my mother was really like. She doesnt talk much about it

27:00 Here, Madonna says that a photographer came across her while she was hanging out with kids outside her apartment building. Got her number. His mother wanted to meet her, a casting director. Led to her role in Desperately Seeking Susan. But, Richard Corman tells a different story in a 2013 interview; How was your first meeting with Madonna ? You were one of the first ones to perceive the potential of the Material Girl, what attracted you to her ? "I was introduced to Madonna by my mother, Cis Corman. At the time she was casting Martin Scorcese's "The Last Temptation of Christ," and was considering Madonna to play the Virgin Mary. She described Madonna as an absolute "Original" whom I had to meet and photograph. The first meeting was magical. As soon as she leaned over the banister of her Lower East Side walk-up building and I saw those remarkable eyes, I knew at that moment she was special." Also, the director of the movie, Susan Seidelman claims to have known Madonna without the help of the casting director at all! -- "How did casting the Susan part come about? "We first started out going the more traditional route, auditioning young up-and-coming actresses. I remember some of them were like Ellen Barkin, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Melanie Griffith. They were all wonderful. But for me, coming out of downtown Manhattan, I had enjoyed working with Richard Hell, I thought it would be good to work with somebody who had a persona. I thought maybe we should look at the music sector to see if there was somebody there who could be interesting. Living downtown about two streets away from Madonna, I knew who she was. She had a video on MTV, I could see she had something. So I talked Orion into letting me do tests with her, and the screen test was successful. They liked her. During the nine and a half weeks that we were shooting, her “Like a Virgin” album got released and it was like watching a skyrocket. She was on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and watching that rise so quickly was fascinating. By the time we were in our last week of shooting, there was security and all the things that are needed when you shoot with stars on the street" - Director Susan Seidelman. " So.. who's telling the truth/recollecting history correctly?

These kind of stories always have smth about them in common: the familiarity element; a brother, a mother, a friend of someone knows a friendly face and they smile and say: "we are stars, come be a star with us".... when most probably they were all chosen by some Satanic talent agency to be the new face of the year to keep the masses entertained while they transfer the wealth from 99% to 1%. But after 40 years the actors/protagonists in the concoted story have lost their original memo and have started to make things up, which becomes aparent when you compare the stories and try to make some sense out of it. I was never one dor conspiracy theories.... But this is where I am right now. :) It is just like listening to some nepo baby telling a story, how they (undeservingly) got their very sought after job due to their merit but with a few years distance, when they have already anchored themselves in the system and are making it seem like they deserve it.

Madonna is and always be the Material Girl whether she likes it or not why cant she just go with it, it's what made her the Icon she is today? Geezzzz besides if Madonna had started her Music career with the music she sang after 1990 she would not have become as famous as she is now her 80s Music put her where she is there again whether she likes it or not...I do not like her attitude these days she has changed so much I dont know her anymore

maybe because she evolved and you're stuck in the past. Also she could not stay famous for so many years if she didn't change at all: you have to understand that she cannot be "that girl" she was in the eighties forever!
