I find the ending of this performance of Holiday to be even more moving than the Live to Tell performance that follows.

if you paid attention she's singing over her original tracks for the purpose of the documentary aspect of the show. had to sayPart of the joy of working on this tour specifically was how we were going to approach featuring original recordings. It’s a tour which is essentially biopic in style, documentary in style. When you see a great documentary you get archival footage, a real taste of stuff that happened at the time. Madonna’s archive of multi-track recordings covers a vast era: multi-track two-inch tapes all the way through DAWs today. When you work in a DAW today, you delete what you don’t use, and the file is gone. But the old tape multi-tracks, everything was recorded and what was muted was done at the time of the mix. So if you now listen to those recordings 25 years later and have the channels open, you hear all this stuff that was not present in the final recording but is available. I used everything I could of the guitar because it’s incredible. For a tour that is connecting memories of relationships, partnerships and musical experiences, using original stuff is so important. If you’re able to find stuff in that original recording that no one has ever heard, you’re actually getting to peek behind the curtain.😊

Predators don't like People who are questioning their behaviors .....they want total acceptance . Being critical leads to self improvement, creativity and seeing ugliness and then seeing how that ugliness can be transformed into something of great Beauty. But that takes work. Evil loves ugliness and destroying Beautiful things . Seeing a Painting of the Old Masters brings happiness ...seeing perfection in a work of Beethoven brings a sense of wonder . You don’t know a thing about dance if you think the dancing on this show is lousy. Most of these dancers are stars in the contemporary ballet world. Not to mention the choreographers as well.

I went to several of her tours, but this looks so cheap… like a cheap Madonna Vegas show mixed with the Gay pride. The costumes are awful. The choreography is soulless. I understand fans are happy because most ppl didn’t think she can still pull off a big tour, but this concert is way under the level she has set for herself.

Her shows used to be great! I wish she could just retire. Better to end a career on a high note no pun intended.

I think this is good, even if it is not as good as what she did in the past... but is this a reason to stop doing anything ? Springsteen ans the rolling stones still make concerts, so why couldn't she ? If you see what I mean.
