What I really like about her - despite all these crazy styles and behavior on the scene, doubted singer talent, she actually feels the right music. She doesn't just search for something very pop and easy that most people would like - instead she finds music with a meaning, that touches deep inside. And makes it perfect polished. She's very smart. That's what modern pop singers lack. They all sound the same these days - they scream and strip on the scene just to attract attention, but all what they 'sing' is senseless and soulless.

And some songs she sings despite doubted talent are very hard songs to sing look a Latiment from her reinvention tour or stunningly superb You must love me from Evita performed at the 97 grannies... Both very hard songs to sing but sung them both live and did it brilliantly..❤❤

I have been a fan since day 1 when in 1982 my sister who is 3 years older then me played her 1st single "Everybody (I was 10 yrs old) & I just fell in love with the song & was a fan of Madonna's, I've been lucky enough to have been to 9 out of her 10 tours (I didn't see the Virgin Tour) & from The Who's That Girl Tour in 1987 to The Rebel Heart Tour in 2015. When I am at her concert I think This is the best tour & then I see the next tour & I say nope this is the best tour because every tour Madonna has done is beyond amazing. When you see Madonna in concert you are not just going to a concert, You are going on a journey with her & it's like being at this amazing broadway Show. You can feel every emotion she sings & the visuals are so incredible. Just watch this video, When I saw the Sticky & Sweet tour & she did this I was in awe. Watching it on youtube or even the dvd doesn't do it justice. Maybe it's the energy in the room when you are there live. This song "Devil Wouldn't Recognize you" is in my top 15 Fav. I wish she would release some of unreleased amazing songs Like (Two Steps Behind Me, Revenge ,Like A Flower, Animal, Across the Sky, Heaven, Dear Father, The Game, Liquid Love, I'm in love with love) to name a few. People have asked me if I had to pick 1 Madonna song as my fav what would it be & I can't I've tried but I start to think of her songs & some of my all time fav songs is (Live To Tell, Dress You Up, Everybody, Vogue, Justify My Love, Burning Up, Into The Groove, Love Don't here Anymore, Over & Over, Who's That Girl, Veni Vidi Vici This song should have been a single for the cd with a video, Oh Father, The Look Of Love, Rain, Like A Prayer, Express yourself, Bad Girl, Human Nature, Inside Of Me, Bedtime Stories, Sanctuary, Forbidden Love (Bedtime Stories CD) & Forbidden Love (Confessions CD), Frozen, Swim, Take A Bow, Skin, Nothing Really Matters, Has To Be, Miles Away, Voices, Ring My Bell, I'm a sinner, Love Spent, Masterpiece, Falling Free, Beautiful Killer, Gambler, Devil Pray, Ghosttown, Illuminate, Hold Tight Ect). Madonna truly is pioneer & a living legend.

"Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" is a song from Madonna's album "Hard Candy." It was released in 2008 and is known for its powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. Madonna herself has mentioned that this song, along with the title track, is one of her favorites on the album. The song explores themes of deception, vulnerability, and the importance of seeing through someone's false pretenses. It's a captivating and enigmatic track that stands out among the upbeat tone of the album.

It's quiet as it is tonight You'd almost think you were safe Your eyes are full of surprises They cannot predict my fate Waiting underneath the stars There's something you should know The angels they surround my heart Telling me to let you go I bet you couldn't I bet you couldn't recognize but I've been hidin' to it Who am I to criticize Somehow I'll get through it and you won't even realize Falling for your own disguise It's like over and over you're pushing me Right down to the floor I should just walk away. Over and over I keep on coming back for more I play into your fantasy Now that it's over You can lie to me right through your smile I've seen behind your eyes Now it's over, no more intoxicating my mind Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, but I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, but I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, but I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, I do I do, I do You almost fooled yourself this time That all the saints be praised You hide your sadness behind your smile And you keep your lost heartbreaks The steps that hedge along the ledge It's much higher than it seems But I've been on that ledge before You can't hide yourself from me I bet you couldn't I bet you couldn't recognize, I still play right to it Who am I to criticize Somehow I'll get through it and you won't even realize Falling for your own disguise It's like over and over you're pushin' me Right down to the floor I should just walk away Over and over I keep on coming back for more I play into your fantasy Now that it's over You can lie to me right through your smile I've seen behind your eyes Now it's over no more intoxicating my mind Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, I do I do, I do It's like over and over you're pushin' me Right down to the floor I should just walk away Over and over I keep on coming back for more I play into your fantasy Now that it's over you can lie to me Right through your smile I've seen behind your eyes Now it's over no more intoxicating my mind Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, you you you Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, you you you Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, you you you Even the devil wouldn't recognize you, but I do, I do, I do Even the devil wouldn't recognize you

Love it. I couldn't agree more. Madonna is amazing. What a stellar career so far. Always makes the fans want more. Can't wait to see what's next...
The fans’ videos were also fantastic. Everyone was wowed by this subtle yet powerful artistry of a performance.
Not seen this clip for a while. Still is breath takingly good. This women is beyond and icon and legend. She needs to be celebrated for all this and more. She's given us amazing music and visuals. Please can we celebrate this 80s Queen while she is still alive.
i remember madonna when i was a kid she was great . she looks good
I was hoping it would be a single, but without it, it still is emotionally brilliant song.
Love this song so much and her voice is perfect too!!!!
Is this a "Pop Ballad"? Oh my my... So damn catchy song this one. This song is as good as all of her other pop ballads such as "Miles Away", "Masterpiece"..etc.

She inspires people. She,s Brave. There,s some Magic un her
It's quiet as it is tonight You'd almost think you were safe Your eyes are full of surprises They cannot predict my fate Waiting underneath the stars There's something you should know The angels they surround my heart Telling me to let you go I bet you couldn't I bet you couldn't recognize but I've been hidin' to it Who am I to criticize Somehow I'll get through it and you won't even realize Falling for your own disguise It's like over and over you're pushing me Right down to the floor I should just walk away.

I was in the 2nd row in the D! Bigg-up to my Michigan queen! The reason I got into the biz.
She has the slightest bit of rasp while singing this, and it fits so perfectly.

te really appreciate the effects you would have had to have seen this in person. spectacular show
Is nobody going to mention this screen???!I still don't understand it to this day. It's so beautiful, such wonderfully vivid projections and completely transparent. Stunning. Still haven't seen anything like it. Janet had a flat version in vegas, but here trapped in the cyclone, i just love.
