So gorgeous at this premiere. Truth or dare was way ahead of its time. Now every single documentary about a pop star looks just like it. Once again, Madonna paved the way and broke that glass ceiling, and I love her for it.

As much as I love the Ray of Light album and period, Blond Ambition/Truth or Dare is her greatest era overall. Bold, glamorous, innovative in a way that created the pop/celebrity blueprint (even to this day), controversial, on top of the world, causing hysteria (good or bad) with everything she did and said. The pop girls nowadays wish they had this impact.

Thumbs down by the fans? No. They were disappointed she wasn’t posing on the red carpet more. The movie was loved.

Omg, I howled when she pushed the photographer lmao! She wasn't playing. On a serious note, though, I think Liz was always the protective mother figure that Madonna needed. That's why they had such a long partnership.
