as a 19-year-old who is obsessed with Madonna, it makes me so sad to see that my generation doesn't understand the barriers she broke and the mould she made for all the future pop stars to come. hate this ageist image the media shines on everything. she fought sexism back then, she's fighting ageism now. I think sadly when she goes that's when everyone will wake up and realise she rightfully is the queen of pop!!!

She dared back in 90's (in a really true censoring time) to mucking up of chauvinism and "macho" homophobic behavior with art, music and stunning performances... That's Madonna. The real Queen.
