That was such a fun interview! I miss that fun spirited and relaxed Madonna.
"Tell Britney you're busy" - I love it. What a nice throwback to the early 2000's.
I remember tuning in the morning just for this before my zero period senior year in high school ! Gosh how time has flown but I still fool them all looking 18 . ;-)
This channel is everything!
I miss this Madonna, too. Seems like another lifetime. And Music (the song and album) is one of her best records ever, and her last huge #1 hit. She released two more classic albums after this (American Life & the amazing Confessions) before the downfall began with Hard Candy, the plastic surgeries, the bizarre behavior and lackluster albums. As a huge fan since Holiday in 1983, this still disappoints me.

do you think she’ll ever release another prolific and truly great project or album?

@@NotTheVibe I would love to answer this with an unqualified yes, but just based on what she’s released since COADF, I’m sadly not sure. If she’d stop trying to act 40 years younger (because it’s just embarrassing now) and focused on her music again, it’s possible, and if anyone can do it, it’s her.

@@NotTheVibe Unfortunately, you did. At least you were treated to one great album while a fan (Confessions), but from 1984-2005, with a few minor exceptions, she could do no wrong musically. I became a fan before I even saw her…heard Holiday on the radio in the fall of 1983 and assumed she was a black artist. Imagine my surprise (and fascination) when I first saw the video to Borderline in March ‘84!
She’s in a super good mood, and I think she likes the interviewer too.
She was so happy here, pregnant and about to get married and in love.
It’s ironic that she talks about her dislike of Napster and here we are on KZread listening to the interview. 😂 Oh how times have changed!

Don’t talk to me about Napster…….I’m still waiting for my download of the Music album to finish…..21 years later 🤣
Love your channel!
Shes such a loyal queen too.
