@@monsieurdorgat6864 He does it repeatedly, unfortunately, often when he does a single hit of 600~800-ish, then a second hit of 600~800-ish (after the first damage hit combo has worn off so it starts a new one). There are a few where he hits them and he does truly one-shot them and yeah, that's fully, entirely, a failed vigour check, but most cases, well, it's just not the case. hell, even the "disgusting Havel monster" only took what, three shots? Or was it three left him a tiny bit of HP remaining and it took a fourth to finish him? Regardless, even with high defenses the build is such that it will eradicate with just a few hits anyone, regardless of their vigour, making it similar to the Seppuku build in how it can delete someone pre-patch, but without anywhere NEAR as much general cheese in how he can delete everything for next to no cost, since it is fairly FP-intensive for his build.

@@KainYusanagi You're gonna have to cite/find these cases. Again, I've seen all his vids, and I don't recall him saying that for the cases you're talking about. Which means that if he did, he probably doesn't do it much - and I'd expect someone commenting over themselves playing an intense experience like an invasion to err at least a little bit. So you're gonna have to come up with multiple, definitive timestamps if you're going to try to make this case. I'm disputing what you think you saw. And yeah, we all know he's using a powerful build. It's very important when you're invading - you won't exactly find success if you don't have a means of quickly killing people who play dumber than NPC's.

Oro's laugh at 2:30-3:12 is so much Godrick.

The unseen Deer is the deadliest.

After a bit of searching I found the build he was using (I don't know the levels of seals but I will assume they are similar to the main hand level): RL 90 Vigor 48 Mind 15 Endurance 14 Str 16 Dex 20 Int 14 Faith 22 Arcane 40 Weapons: -Dragon Communion Seal +7 -Frenzied Flame Seal +7 -Vyke War Spear +7 -Perfumer Shield +17 Talismans: -Bull-Goat's Talisman -Great Jar's Arsenal -Radagon's Sorseal (mind the +5 to vig, end, str and dex when leveling) -Concealing Veil Flask of Wondrous Physick is -Leaden Hardtear (infinite poise) Not sure for the 2nd half but I think they are some sort of damage buff: -Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear (fire damage boost) -Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear (most likely not this one since this one converts magic damage to hp) Spells are obvious but for clarity: -Frenzied Burst -Inescapable Frenzy -The Flame of Frenzy -Flame Grant me Strength Fashion is Cleanrot set

I can't believe I found where I got murdered by Oroboros on one of his vids, haha. 7:55 we were minding our own business trying to help my friend kill that stupid freaking gargoyle outside the Bestial Sanctum. GG!

I just realized Oro is like Nosferatu Zodd from Berserk in his first appearance. Guts manages to slice Zodd and he's like finally a worthy warrior and then transforms into a demon and just treats Guts like a toy. Somebody will get a good hit in and Oro will be like "oh that was good!" then completely demolish them.

Oro's pure childlike laughter was so uplifting. After all his excitement in the playthroughs, it was cool to see him still as excited now.

I'm so glad they nerfed the build up speed on it. And fixed the dragon seal making it so insanely strong. A debuff that eats your fp and freezes you in place needs to be hard to trigger.

I'm not sure how they didn't catch the dragon seal having super high frenzy buildup with that scaling making the frenzy focused seal that's supposed to increase build up completely useless and irrelevant.

@@aisponek frenzy seal just increases dmg by 20%, and as It's purpose was probably for rediculously high level pvp it scales with four stats. The punches with the seal inflict madness but there is no extra madness added to the spells cast. The arcane seal and staff worked with status spells because the way arcane scaling and status in this game work, but it seems S scaling with status spells was too much over something like raw dmg or percentile dmg.

there are few things sweeter in life than seeing a host's entire health bar turn yellow.

Inescapable Frenzy is what Sacred Flame from DS3 should have been. That spell had a cooler animation (imo), but the ability to give yourself enough poise to actually pull it off is absolutely essential.

Oro, this may be the most ruthless shit I've seen. You are a true villain :D

@@skylersims9263 big agree. My longest running build was a pyro specifically because of it. One of the only anti-shield wall skills in the ringed city.

The frenzied burst nerf makes sense I guess but the inescapable frenzy one hurts my soul. If you hit someone with it, you deserve to one shot them.

@@JonathanKanelis I agree. If someone is either dumb enough to get hit, or you time it perfectly then it should kill. With all the stuff with less than 1 second ttk then why not have a spell that beats shields or dumbasses.

Just because people neglected the literal stat that defends against this doesn't mean it was op. However, the interaction between the dragon seal and the frenzy spells was absolutely broken, and that's what needed to be addressed.

@@nunull6427 You can sneak up on people with talismans and do it from outside of their screen though, during animation, on ladders, it doesn't matter what situation as long as you get hit once you are dead, it was absolutely in the right to be nerfed. I'm worried it won't have any real place in pvp or pve now afterwards, even if I wouldn't want it to function the same way it did pre patch.

@@Smuggers. The scream was always a dead giveaway, I honestly don't remember if the spook talisman could remove it though, personally never used it. My biggest complaint is your closing statement, as they are by large not useful now in pvp especially when compared to their previous competition, and the poise buff incants got skipped over madness incants completely(unless I read wrong, please correct me). Overall poorly implemented and poorly handled afterwords. Not to mention.... Madness arcane builds don't even need to respec to utilize RoB which was left untouched, and the spear was buffed while only touching on the great shield talisman/fingerprint reaction. The frenzy burst needed fixing with it's interaction with dragon talisman, not much else needed with those.(blood flies too, as the dragon tool increased the blood buildup)

I dunno I feel they've done a better job of nerfing things in this game but not nerfing it so hard that it's not viable anymore.....they nerfed moonveil and I'm still murdering people with that sword

@@HaLoFreQ2000 The katana they basically reduced poise dmg on and called it good. That imo was way to light for the dmg,speed, and spam-ability. Mostly the changes were in a good direction, I suppose if that's your point but they absolutely overkilled the madness adjustments in one patch and that was my point.

The double reposte from host and summon was good on the crucible knight then the double death by Oro was even better. Lol

I could watch this shit all day lol his evil laugh after each kill

A fun thing I liked when I did madness invasions was using the howl to trigger madness through walls if someone as standing on the other side

And that's pretty much the only use for that incantation. Sure, there's the slight damage boost you get but it also basically gives everything a 25% damage boost against you. And the recovery is just too damn long to actually capitalize on the madness proc.

That last bit was a "clever girl" moment

if you do the shabriri girl quest you can get frenzy seal which buffs your frenzy spells.

Pre 1.04 I ran a similar build, although mine was pure madness caster. Same use of veil+burst tho. Wearing that Ogre Pumpkin helm thing, Omenkiller clothes, tree sentinel gloves and greaves, The Mad Pumpkin stalked and sniped left and right. Great video! Also please tell me you didn't pass up the opportunity to call this character a "Madrot Soldier". Perfect name for the build.

yeah, it was a fun build, I ran something similar out in the snowy areas mostly. Black knife set, veil+burst pure caster.

What's his wondrous physik setup? He has poise and a damage = HP crystal tear combo?

Side roll is better, really depends on the weapon coming at you and how they can follow up (sweep vs. another poke). You can dead angle punish them or roll once more for a backstab if their recovery animation is slow.

I love madness so much. Here's hoping we get more incantations and weapons with it.

I absolutely NEED an Ultra Greatsword with madness on it. I don't know why, but I just want it so bad.

It sucks that the game doesn't have more madness weapons. Madness build is really fun to use

Inescapable frenzy gets buffed of you have a status applying weapon in the opposing hand, basically an instant kill if you have a bleed weapon, can proc death from the eclipse shotel too

Madness Bros RISE UP.

Frenzied Burst was disgusting pre-patch lol. Felt good oneshotting level 250+ Bull Goat monsters though

With the flame of frenzy you can roll catch in the direction there dodging if you aim the camera. (no lock on) Like the chaos fire ball days. Super useful for turn around cast surprise at the gankers feet too. Post patch not getting much madness afflicted but the damage is still high. @Oroboro

High dmg on what seal by chance? With 300 spell buff flame of frenzy just gets disrespected at 125. (I have a feeling it's because it's fire, and now that focus is unnecessary, most meta armors have high fire resist)

Your correct on the damage falling off at 125 I've been doing low level to mid level invasion with the starting seal. I haven't tried really optimizing a fire damage build with it yet for 125
