@@venuslightplays8676 Having simple repeating textures on the ground is not 'detailed' Almost every open world game has the ground extended for a while out of the map limits

I had encountered a glitch while playing this game. I flew outside the map into the big nothing and kept driving without dying. Eventually the ground began to glitch and spires of sand would start shooting out of the ground. It was cool af and I wish I had recorded it.

Developers make this game great again...we don't need no ultra textures all we need is more content

Bro, if you had any idea how difficult it was to make a madmax game, you'd see why Warner don't want to touch this and potentially ruin it. Not to mention that they want to keep George Miller happy until he drops the next 2 movies. Unless the let George himself write a story based dlc, I can't see this happening.

awesome! the map in the intro does exist. apparently the final battle & cutscenes are also filmed on portions of this map outside the big nothing. the developers really did an amazing job.

It's still sucks, they could have just made map bigger and then add there sandstorm with removing HP script to let player explore much interestings spots without such problems, but they didn't

Max doesn't care about Hope and Glory. He's awkward around them and helps them for the idea of a mother and her child in the wasteland rather than who they actually are. Ultimately, he will always choose to wander alone rather than form attachments as that sets him up for falls. He easily disregards Chum, the Magnum Opus, Glory's globe and Hope's memory as soon as he has the Interceptor back under his control. Dude is messed up.

was hoping he would end up at the Citadel or the Bullet Farm from Fury Road, but lawsuits happen

@EneTheGene If the update adds content, yes DLC = Downloadable content Content = stuff like new vehicles and more story stuff We used to call all DLCs updates and still kinda do, for example on Minecraft we call it the "Caves and Cliffs update" even though it adds more content to be Downloaded, but GTA players call it DLC like "The Gunrunning DLC"

Everything south of Dead Barrens (The Jaw) was once water. The entire first half of the map. One of the reasons it’s so cool to explore was used to be underwater shipwrecks but are now dried out hulls in the desert.

Most likely where devs tested hydrolics, speed, and grip seeing as you see a bumpy road, a slanted road, a bumpy slanted road and a straight track.

@@IsM1ku Lmao when making games its easier to make flat then to terraform, anyone whos tried terraforming in Minecraft would know that, and anyone whos tried making a game knows placing a flat plane is easier then making good looking "random" terrain. Better question is why would the devs randomly take a piece of land that literally no one would see in normal gameplay and make it weird like that. Not weird like "This place is bugged out like the game rounded off one to many x y z cords" but weird like "This doesn't look possible IRL". Idk I think K3nshiiiii's guess makes a lotta sense.

One thing I wanted for this game was DLC. Just look at the potential this game had. 😃

That game was a huge surprise. Came out of nothing, did cost 20 bucks, had interesting and good writing and good game mechanics. And is now one of my all-time favourite games, which means something coming from someone playing computer games for 35 years now. Oh, and along with that Wolverine game, it is one of the two games made as addition to a movie that are actually way better and way more fun than the movie itself.

I think its definitely kool how in the big nothing there is the beginning of the game title screen. That also begs the idea that when you hit new game, instead of it being a cutscene completely separate from the game, the cutscene is actually the travel from the titlescreen to the game map.

It's easier to hide the menu scene inside a massive open world game then it is to build a separate area.

The big nothing was supposed to be an explorable area with hardcore surviving difficulty but it was removed and i dont understand why because they have the map still there all they had to do is add loot. Fuckin Avalanche.

basically WB wanted to make the game but GM didn't sign off so WB used what they had in their trademark to make the game so what that included the storyboard for fury road and car designs so most cars in the game are in mad max fury road so the game is fury road but isnt apart of the time line other wise scrotus would be dead in fury road

Under the map. There(like many games) has a large water undercoat. FORTNITE, MAD MAX, Ratchet' n Clank. They all use this. It's just super easy.

For me "the plains of silence" its just what there is behind "the big nothing". -Past is pain, thats why Max runs away. -The big nothing is like a barrier, that creates a easily noticeable "line" where the real world over, and "gives you space to think there could be something better behind it" -The plains of silence its "a new home for Max"... its just on the same direction than death, however you require faith to believe it will be there, otherwise nobody would go there... not even max... (faith = fuel) For me its just Max trying to find a better place... by its nature and past he is on a point where he believes he must be alone, because he dont deserve to be with more people (he failed his family) and also because he just dont believes he will be able to resist more if some of those die by Max's actions or inactivity. so He keeps moving alone like a penitence. Max needs that faith, even it isnt real, to be able to reach new frontiers... probably there is no middle point for max, or he reaches a new home or he reaches death, probably he will be OK with any of those. But he is just not going to surrender and die, he need an excuse to look back to death.

yep i had suspicion that the raod was from opening cutscene when you start a new game... oh second thought, did that truck go that far for max to get to Chumbucket's area? And there was a good chunck of nothing there... i think i awnsered my own question

That's the area where the game opens and Max is chased by war boys.

So I cant actually get to where you got to...cant even make it to that Far north waypoint, screen starts turning red...and the big nothing kills me. I cant continuously boost like that. Do you need the ULTIMATE vehicle to make said trip?

I feel that road shouldnt even exist because i thought that the big nothing used to be where the ocean was... or maybe it was just a road near the beach.

Love the game but after you do almost everything it gets boring but even after you can always restart and try to do camps in a different way and just have alot of fun even if i beaten it already and theres still soo much to Explore cuz the big nothing still must have a massive amount of secrets

How do I literally do it when I go through that area the entire map is returned to me as if I died or it says that I am in a restricted area as if I am at the limits of the map

It was been so nice if they put the citadel in the game like the fury road

How did you survive the Big Nothing health depletion?

That's the main menu screen. I managed to spawn there once after launching the game. No car, no chum, no items or clothes, just max standing near that scarecrow. I ran south for half an hour until I reached the end of the map and died =/

That was one strange road

To discover the thing, you need to die a couple of times cuz max's health would be depleting slowly in your 1st attempts

Questions do you need some type of hack to get there in not saying him your cheating but i tried but i died trying to cross the desert fog thingy and I couldn't cross it

that is a nice easter egg

I whant a rmremake of the game withe better grafics and way more cars and building options and a way bigger map. What do you think?
