Madison, I want to encourage you in your motherhood. I am a mother of 13 children. Please do not feel anxiety about not being able to give your later children the attention you gave your first because you will be giving them so much more.....each other. You and Kyle have been a beautiful example of family life! I also would encourage you to keep your hearts open to having more children. They are the only thing you will take with you at the end of the day. A love of family and seeing the value of a child is rare today. Keep your hearts open! God bless both of you!

I struggled with the same feeling when I went from 1 kid to 2 and what comforted me is knowing the love that they get from each other. Even though you can’t give Oliver the same attention you have taytum and Oakley Oliver will get 5 times that amount of attention and love from his siblings!

I completely relate to you, Madison. I just recently had my 2nd, he's 3 months old and my oldest, she's almost 3 and I had to return to work last month and I feel so guilty and sad about not being able to spend all of my time with my sweet little babies. I'm a daycare worker, so I spend time with a lot of other families babies, but not my own. It breaks my heart. But I'm so proud of you for doing all that you do. You're a wonderful mother and wife and I know so many people look up to you and your family. I'm so excited for this next chapter in your life, it's going to be magical ✨💛🙏

I am in the same boat as you. I too am an aunt. Godmother and also plenty little people in my life. In my opinion its just as special being a mom

Remember that watching them grow is also an amazing journey to look forward too! There are so many stages of their lives that are so exciting and are yet to come. X

Yeah like as the days pass they become 6 years old it's fast but they will always be Fish fam kids.

Cheers from Spain, Mad! I've been following you for years now since your very beginning and I feel so sad when you get overwhelmed or stressed by those mixed feeling. Do not forget ever the big beautiful family you got, how lucky to live that great life you share together, but never lose perspective. In my case, I've been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now with my husband who I've been together with for 18 years and I am 38, so just do the math, it is hell for us trying everything, but I have a chronic disease that makes it almost impossible and God, I want kids soooo bad... everyone has a cross to carry, but always have something to be grateful for, just need to see it inside you :)

I feel so sad that you felt the need to justify your feelings, Madison. It’s crazy how when we become moms, we’re expected to become superhumans who never get sad about certain aspects of motherhood. If we show any negative emotions, the mom shamers come to call us ungrateful. I’m so sorry that you felt like you had to defend your feelings because you don’t. There are ups and downs in every mother’s journey. People who have one kid are allowed to be sad when babyhood is over, and you’re allowed to be sad that your attention is split between five kids. Your feelings are valid. 💖
