It's great to hear some lyrics that aren't totally vapid.
Three more masterpieces from Madison Cunningham. All At Once. Wow. I can't say enough about her guitar skills.
Every time I stop and really listen to Madison sing, And more significantly her song writing I am increasingly blown away. Madison, you are the real deal. Money or not, keep playing, writing, singing...

This kid will never stop! Can't wait to see what the future holds for her!!
There are only a few musicians, who are extraordinary singer and guitar player as well. Madison is one. Thank you for your music.
Fantastic, one of the best artist out there at the moment :)
What a breath of fresh air!
I´m discovering Madison video after video, song after song... She is simply amazing! Her guitar style and technique, her voice, composition, lyrics... her whole music! Also the thoughts she shares and what she transmits with her calm, humble and down-to-earth appearance, away from the "I am great!" (though she is!) ... Uf! One of my favorite artists today!
One day they are going to put her in the likes of the Beatles this is a level of talent that doesn't come around often so let's embrace it and enjoy it while she's here
wow...that guitar!!! How she plays it is absolutely outstanding!!
This whole set destroys me! So good
She is special, something more.
Thank you for existing, fellow old soul, I was becoming so jaded on the popular new music.. thinking something was wrong with me, but no, I just am not entertained by anything that isn’t brilliant like this.
Thank you KZread for recommending Madison to me. I have her new album and play it endlessly. I’d love to see her live and will when the opportunity presents itself. What a great talent!
How wonderful these songs are, how amazingly special and beautiful the guitar sounds and a great voice that goes down like honey. I am touched, thank you.
This woman is incredible ! Love you Madison :)
Madison is an excellent singer/songwriter with highly developed skills as a guitarist. She also happens to have a great voice. That would be the whole package, then...
Madison Cunningham is the best! She deserves to be even more famous and recognized. Amazing talent.
First time I heard Madison was on Live From Here doing "All At Once". A couple of bars into the guitar intro, I was totally astounded. Been a - can't get enough - fan ever since. Her "All At Once" today was even more awesome. Looking forward to seeing her live this spring.
She’s so legit
Such a fresh approach. Great stuff. Go get 'em Madison!
Wonderful songwriting and a world class voice.
How do you define or explain an artist like this to your friends ? YOU CAN'T !!! Just let them listen.
She is amazing.
I had to go find her on Spotify, and she is just AMAZING!!!!!!
Some people get it all.
Madison is timeless❤️
She's simply amazing.. My new favourite artist!!

Just discovered Madison today and am impressed. A very musical artist. Well done!

All At Once! brilliant.
This is brilliant!
Fantastic original songs Madison.
Headed for stardom. The best, paul.
I see SUPRO AMPS and I have to watch... SURE GLAD I DID. Madison is a talent plus.
Love Madison & love that Robert Randolph shirt too!
Unreal!
No One Else To Blame has some serious Elliott Smith vibes, love it.
Beautiful music. I hear "Blake Mills" in her voice, whom I love. Great songs, sound, voice....I can`t ask for anything else.

Yes! The 2nd song I heard 'Don't tell all out friends about me'! In a great way.
Great.
Hell yea!
class
Hear so many influences in her music. First song sounds a lot like Paul Simon.
really got an andrew bird vibe there and low and behold she's out playing with him. unbelievable stuff
Sounds great without a band M Vocal pitch crazy good!
So incredible. In some ways, if in an alternate universe, Radiohead released an americana country album, it might've sounded something like this
She really is so basic and so wonderful . Love her voice as much as her guitar playing

She's not basic at all - harmonically and rhythmically complex - but we agree that she's brilliant.

Neil Barton ok my English is not perfect . So what should I say if I think her music is grounded , deep, reduced but impressive , I don’t know the English term . I used my German expression which seems not to fit ...

Now I understand and agree.
I hear a Joni Mitchell influence....nice refreshing sound! good guitar player too!
First tune reminded me of Elliot Smith in all the best ways. I'm sure Madison would be OK with that.
Did anyone say "Rosalía"? What an unfair world! My God! this is the real thing...this girl is so talented
She's my Angel! Where has she been hiding all these years??? Probably see a UAP today
Brilliant Muso
Madison and Gary Clark Jr collab would be rad!!!!!
I can hear Bonnie Raitt and Joni Mitchell...
Paste, Anyone know what her effects pedals are? That tone is insane. jazzmaster + supro run through...?

Last time was able to catch a peak, she was rocking the JHS Panther Cub, Emperor, and Superbolt. Also worth noting that a lot of the tone comes from the tuning (-4 semitones on at least one of her tunes) and the strings (heavy gauge, maybe flats?). Hope this helps!
This.
Maybe she paid a visit to the Crossroads : that last song. Musical through and through like Robert Johnson.
Madison, I can't wait to see you again. I saw you and spoke to you about playing a private house concert at our house when we met you on the Cayamo Cruise last February. I noticed recently that you will be in Ft. Worth on Oct. 11. We'd really love to host you in a private house concert in Fort Worth for 40 of our personal friends during the weekend before that. How should I contact you?

She reminds me of Joni Mitchell....and coming from me, that's quite a compliment! She blows my mind!
Paste, what model supro amplifiers do you guys use in the studio? They always sound so good in these sessions (the people playing through them don’t hurt...)

Oh goodness.... that voice is witchcraft
I wouldn't consider her Americana
Congratulations on the Grammy nomination (love your take on it!) and the sold-out concerts. Madison, I love you, but that guitar is a POS! Even worse with the rubber bridge! One song a set, please, at most. I'll listen in spite of that because you're incredibly talented. Maybe the best performance of All at Once I've heard you do so far. Great ad lib at the end, your vocal improvs are beautiful.

She says she likes the pizzicato, but I miss the sustain, especially as the only instrument.

I couldn't make that guitar sound work but she does. She produces a unique sound, marginally like a guitar. I admire her Sonic sense of adventure.

@@dalerieger5927 I agree. I just don't want to hear it all the time! Especially songs that are "normally performed normally." I think it works nicely on No One Else To Blame. These cheap guitars seem to be all the rage now. I see them ("vintage") going for several hundred dollars. We used to laugh at them when we were kids, we called them "firewood" and said the "necks are like tree trunks." She could actually probably afford to put one of those rubber bridges (or even better, have a mute installed - some guitars used to come with them to get that sound) on a Jazzmaster. Those Japanese Teiscos and their clones died a slow death in the 70s, and should never have been resurrected.

NickyT what is the guitar she is playing called ? I think I’m mishearing her
@Nicky-T
4 жыл бұрын
@@Grahambhuyan I think she's saying "Inamark?" It's a cheesy Japanese guitar from the 60s. with the burgeoning popularity of guitars at that time, there were a few companies in Japan that made similar cheap guitars for beginners that were sold under different brand names during that period. We used to see them in the music stores downtown and make fun of them. Probably the best known of these is the Teisco brand, which has inexplicably become a sought-after "vintage" guitar. Made of the cheapest wood, they weigh nothing (which makes them easy to play standing for long sets). Kind of like playing an electric six-string uke. The cheapest guitars you could find at the time. If you're interested in these, there is a good column every month in Premier Guitar about these "bottom-feeder" models from this era. It's actually called Bottom Feeder. www.premierguitar.com/taxonomies/special/2206-will-ray-s-bottom-feeder.
