I'm sure there is some science to this! Could be that it's harder to find the right pitch without hearing the singer's voice for reference. I think this song in particular is quite tricky timing-wise because there's no backbeat too, plus lots of different rhythms and quite a few vocal runs going on

Imagine figuring out your a good singer in music class when you were just having fun. So you go more into singing and join a choir and get a solo that brings out your confidence and shows you you don’t have to be scared anymore. Then you feel more open about it but still a lil nervous. Then a virus gets in the way of your dream to be a famous singer/dancer. You are still waiting for the virus to pass. So while your stuck in your house you wonder “I wonder what will happen next?”

That's kinda me right now, I mean I've always been involved in singing, songwriting, and producing, but it's really hard to promote and get out there when you're stuck inside your house with no inspiration and ways to meet with people who can give you a chance. I completely understand you😔❤️ My friend and I won my schools talent show (competition) and were going to compete at the regional. We had a senior tour planed and paid for, we were also supposed to perform with a band ( Super Tramp) with my school’s music program. My friend and I were also supposed to perform at my school’s show. After 4 years I finally became a singer at the music program (where I play the clarinet), we were going to have an amazing end of the year show... all for it to be canceled by Miss corona *sigh* And I probably won’t have a prom or a seniors brunch *sigh once again*

I've sung my whole life. I know that because I've watched my old videos when I was young lately. And yeah when I was 6 I signed up for music school I always wanted that! I ended music school two years ago and now I'm studying singing.I have been going to singing competitions since I was 8. Now I'm bored in quarantine so all I do is singing. Keep practising guys and you'll be perfect! I'm 14 too xD

I relate to this song but not necessarily because I’ve had a boyfriend but because the lyrics perfectly describe a toxic person and how the way they treat you damages your heart and self esteem.
