We Kenyans love Congolese music but truth be told the way these brothers play the instruments is on another level.I love the late Madillu's music.Especially this song

Madilu is a rhumba heavyweight that never suffered negative comparisons & rivalry after launching his solo career. He simply delivered & everyone enjoys todate. Before him it was Franco vs Tabu Ley, afterwards Kofi vs Werrason vs Pamba Wemba(Koffi sailed but was briefly outed by a wave that came with Awilo Longomba). In later years, it has been Ferret Gola vs Fally Ipupa, with nostalgic rumba fans choosing Le Padre.

There is a reason they call KENYA the capital of Africa...we listen to all sorts of musics a cross African without discrimination.

Kenyans plz never get tired of listening this enjoyable music.

I am Zambian, but this music was a huge part of us growing up in the early 90s. Reminds me of my late father who used to enjoy listening to African music on Sunday afternoons.

I'm proud to be a Kenyan, and I started listening to rumba music 🎶 when I was young in a stand 4 , madilu being my favourite followed by franco, Deffao, faya Tess and Tshala muana the queen of mutwashi

Am now 30 but if your still listening 🎧 to this song this year. Just kneel down and thank God for the goodness and favour that your still alive until now. These jams made our child hood memories we hold until now.
