It's not just about the singing. It's more about the ease Rafi Sahab use to sing such songs, it was so effortless for him. The way he use to manage his breathing and switching between different notes so effortlessly, I think this quality is really difficult to match by anyone. Same goes to Kishoreda and Mannadey as well.

Javed Ali pleasantly surprised me with his ability to sing a highly classical song. Usually singing a song previously recorded by a maestro like Rafi is challenging. But Javed Ali did an excellent job. Thank you, Mr. Ali, and good luck!

What u have said is right. But classical musicians have a vast repertoire. Each one has their own voice, cannot be copied.

Beautifully sung. Singers singing the great Rafi Sahib’s songs do so at their own peril, but Jawed Ali has done him proud.
