The moment that we've all been waiting for...

I have been Hugo's fan since I was 16. Now, 7 years later I still get excited everytime I listen to a new Madeon's song. And I promise the crazy fan is not speaking for me. Witnessing the development of his career and how his music "grew up" as the same time I was doing so, has been one of the most spectacular things for me to live, like a gift from life. It's obvious that we as fans have always known that Hugo is a genius, but "The Prince" objectively demonstrates that we were not wrong and I'm pretty sure that Hugo have reached a new peak in his career with this song. I'm not eager for new music, but thinking about what's coming next and the possibility of Madeon outgrowing himself makes me wanna cry. Looking forward seeing him in Mexico once again.

Bro same from listening to his “Shuriken” and “for you” songs to his City EP. witnessing his career grow and develop at the same age as I was and my career was also growing as well (in a different field) was a awesome thing to witness all the way to now and its really beautiful to see him doing well. Im excited for what he has coming up next

Sameee 😭 I have been a fan of Hugo since 2011, it started with Finale, and since then I heard all his songs, and not even once was I dissapointed. And now seeing him growing SO much, with his career, and himself becoming older and older too, now he is a man 😢 I'm really proud of him and I'll continue supporting him 😁

Definitely the dopest track heard this year, LETS GOOOO!!!

I loved Madeon, but somehow lost touch with his music and now I just listened to this track and man it feels like meeting an old friend who become supremely successful yet with old compassion... Absolutely loved this track 😍

This should be in an album of it's own. It sounds great, and doesn't really fit with the other albums. Honestly I'd love an album full of songs like this.

I know the comment section is a bit old, but damn if madeon had more unreleased tracks he should definitely release the guy has a special gift and I think that he's better than most mainstream djs/producers.

Just a couple of artists who are narrowing down the line between experimentation and the pop nature of electronic, mad respect for always changing the sound while also keeping it all the same.

Listening Madeon since 2012 when I discovered "Finale" and till now I have no regrets about his songs, awesome !!!

More than just ear candy, a good story too, it's quite lovely. Wish I could have seen it live at the good faith tour show I managed to get to before covid, but it was still a fun surprise to hear it drop during the secret sky show :)

I don't think anyone really talks about how great this song is and was. I've been following Madeon since like 2012 and this is definitely one of my favorite tracks of his.

It’s not that you got it wrong, per se.. he’s performed this where he has used that lyric. And he’s done other songs of his where he’s altered the lyrics there, as well. I mean, it’s his song so he can do what he wants with it, but when it first got circulated most of us heard “I’m the prince” but then the official lyrics came out and honessssstly I like the official ones a bit more. IDK. Either way, this is still fantastic.

The Prince was played in the Secret Sky 11 months ago and the code of Celine EP found out 8 months ago, The Prince was supposed to be the lead single of the Good Faith but Madeon said it was too "dark" to be there.

this was the first song of good faith it all started in good faith radio there was a moarse code that said “The Prince Will Lead To Celine”

Porter's chat was flipping out when this started on Secret Sky stream. So good

every sound is so tight and controlled, the bass is center and wide in the higher frequencies. A masterpiece that flexes your technical prowess

i like this quite a bit. A nice deviation from the cheery/wholesome mood of Good Faith. Not sure you'll ever beat the Adventure album (for me). The music direction, complexity, and overall vibe of that album made me cry multiple times every time i listened to it (which I listened to it every day, multiple times for weeks; I've never pre-ordered anything before except that). I may die with that album as my favorite ever. I understand artists change and they should feel free to express that.
