It is located in the southern part of the island. It is the seat of a small municipality with an area of 51.82 km² and 34,614 inhabitants, subdivided into 5 parishes.
In this city you will find its beautiful typical and picturesque fishermen's beach visited by many tourists throughout the year, in addition to having beautiful restaurants, bars and hotels for recreation, it is a perfect place to walk outdoors and appreciate one of the most beautiful views of this bay and island.
