Hello my lovely people!
On this occasion we will do a walking tour 4K inside the Madeira Farmers Market or "Mercado dos Lavradores".
It was built in 1930s and it was a market where fishermen sold their catch daily; and where local farmers sold produce from their gardens. Today it still has the same function, selling local products; but now the vendors do not have to be precisely those who farm or fish.
It is located in the center of Funchal and you can fall in love with its corridors full of vegetables, fruits, plants and exotic species. Another great attraction is the sale of different products made of cork for which it is also very famous.
And finally you can also enjoy its beautiful terrace with restaurants and a beautiful view of the center of Funchal.
