This is the most in-depth Pico to Pico video I've seen. I am terrified of doing the full route when we visit next month, but seeing all those people who did it makes me want to at least try to go as far as possible without limiting myself. Thank you!

I have walked this twice over the years. Absolutely stunning walk. Must be one of the best in the world and a must do. Need to be fit though.

Yes, we went from Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo and back again. Alternatively, you can proceed to Mad Achada do Teixeira if someone can pick you up there. There are parking facilities at both ends.

At a normal pace, the trip takes about 6 hours (back and forth)
