This song is utterly timeless. It sounds as though it was written Yesterday. Which incidentally is another timeless song. Something The Beatles are known for, which again is another classic. To be honest they wrote enough songs to start a Revolution. These classics are probably broadcast Across the Universe. ❤

So many great Beatles songs to react to, and so many of them have completely different sounds. Consider reacting to "Eleanor Rigby," "Help!," "Twist and Shout," "Hey Jude," "Something," "Here Comes the Sun," "Taxman," "She's Leaving Home," "Revolution," "Nowhere Man" or "A Little Help from My Friends." You would never know that they were all from the same group. All four of them were lead singers, all four of them wrote songs, and two of them are considered to be among the very best songwriters of all time (and a third Beatle is not far behind). Two of them are considered to be among the best rock and roll singers of all time (and a third Beatle is not far behind). You could do a series of reactions on the Beatles and never do the same type of song twice. By the way, "Let It Be" was recorded in January 1969, but not released until the spring of 1970.

Das ja das Tolle an den Beatles. Das die Songs so vielfältig sind, und nicht, wie bei vielen anderen Gruppen, oder Interpreten, immer den gleichen Sound, und Melodie haben.. I love the beatles,, in my life ,here, there and everywhere, since I'm a nine years old girl. Lg from Germany Ellen 😍

@@mikevale3620 I agree that "Tomorrow Never Knows" does not sound like any other Beatles' song... or like any other song, for that matter. I like it, but it is challenging to a new listener. For anyone expecting an accessible melody and lyrics, TNK could be a real turnoff without knowing the context. Once you understand its place in the musical (and Beatles') universe, it's a great song.

Paul's mother was called Mary, so mother Mary calling him, was just how he started his day - and she loved the mucical '"The Sound of Music" by Rogers and Hammerstein, so that would be playing on the record player... The words of wisdom, that mother Mary offered him were - don't try to change things you can't can't change - Let Them Be...

  • @thomastimlin1724

The original single record hit did NOT have the orchestra or the loud guitar solo on it and you could hear the other Beatles and Yoko Ono, Lennon 's wife, singing the background vocals ["ooo" etc]. and a softer more mello guitar solo. IMO the single is better because it has a softer angle to the message of the sound, while the loud brash orchestra and guitar solo turned it into a damned opera instead of the softy prayer it was intended to be..
