I think it’s because they weren’t really trying to be entertaining. Just worshipful. This album is fun and wonderful, but it’s not a party atmosphere. It’s about Jesus and keeping people very focused on Him.

This is a special song. The year it came out my wife and I were in a car accident . The car was totalled. My sister was wakened the night before. She was led to pray that my oldest son, who was 2, should not be fatherless. So she prayed. I usually drive but my wife offered to drive that morning. The van barreled to the passenger side of the car...my side. We walked away...stiff and store and a broken finger. We have 2 sons. My eldest started year 2 of University and my youngest year 2 of high school yesterday. My wife and I were here to see this. He has made me glad...

He has a great plan for your life, BUT you will not experience it if you do not regularly renew your mind and develop your relationship with Him. Just like any relationship, regular time and commitment is required to make it thrive and prosper. Many say I have no extra time. Well, how much time do you spend watching T.V./social media/video games ect. We all have extra time we just need to decide how we use it. Spiritual growth will not happen over night. But it will grow as long as you daily grow and refuse to give up!! The key is to stay consistent in growing your relationship with God. And spending time around people who are growing spiritually as you are.

Thanks for this reminder. I am encouraged.

My 14 year old nephew passed away on Saturday afternoon after a 2 year battle with cancer. This was one of his favourite songs and he asked his daddy to play it for him and an hour later he closed his eyes and passed peacefully. He was a believer so his blessings will come in the new city in Heaven 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤

It's 2023 and still listening to this song. A song is timeless when its purpose is to proclaim the Lord's glory.

My brother would listen to this song non stop when it came out in 2002. I didn't listen to Christian music back then but this one grew on me. He passed away on Jan 2003 from cancer at 26. It's been 20 years and I still miss him very much.

This is my favorite Hillsong ever. It still makes me emotional every time I hear it. Even after all these years.

The Hillsongs Church has lost its way but God is still God and Darlene is still the real deal.Thank goodness she and her husband left the church when they did. God protected her and her legacy.

I grew up in churches where I never expressed myself through song. You always kept your arms to yourself and sang lightly to old hymns. Listening to this song I cannot stop the feeling as my emotions let loose and my hands raise to God and my tears flow. I have not experienced this before and love the feeling I get listening to this group. I feel so much closer to my heavenly parent, my God, through this song.

I grew up in a church like that too. But even tho it was in the countryside of Brazil they had solid biblical teaching. Do not regret your background. These churches have beautiful music but many times if not most of the time they neglect the most important thing: teaching the Bible!

I remember helping out at our church in Tx in 90’s when Hillsong/Darlene and team flew in from Australia- the church was so packed they did a unscheduled second show for the people waiting outside even though they were exhausted. What a blessing !

This was one of my favorite about 14+ years ago and its still a blessing to me. The Lord is my strength and very present help in time of need. Hallelujah

It is so nice to see everyone dressed formally in the House of God. From the worship team to the audience, majority of them are in formals. This was in 2002, look at the dressing now. Call me old fashioned, but dressing formally to the Church is still an act of reverence.

@@sr3821 Some say that the evil powers that were active in the Hillsong leaders will be an open door of falling to the same type of conscience to excuse bad life choices. You can look up Brian Houston, who did unscriptural behaviors condemned in court. Will the lives of them in the Hillsong worship be judged as evil? Maybe they will, but our own lives are up to us to make sure we do not accept sinful behavior in our own lives. Jesus is well able to keep us away from old sins.
