A true villians car, love it! Idk if Hongqi L-series only was for the CCP, and the other Series like H5/7/9 series are sold to private people and outside china. But I think a real true Hongqi is a L-series with that classic Hongqi look with oldschool grille and round lights.

Not sure what you mean Ash, but this car is inspired by the old HongQi limousines of the 60s (CA770) that were only ever allowed to be used by Chinese Communist Party officials. Nowadays, the company is headed by the former head of Rolls-Royce, owned by FAW (China's equivalent to General Motors) and unlike what others say here, from what I understand, I think 'anyone' can buy this car. You'd have to go through a background check - surely they wouldn't want Trump or his dodgy racist family buying one - but it's not all that limited. The main issue is the price, which seems to be about $1,000,000 which is...insane. Though there are smatterings of real White Jade (rarer than green jade) and 24karat gold; hand-carved lotus flowers in the steering wheel. It also comes with a Twin-Turbo V12 engine which - if I remember correctly - was co-developed with Porsche and Mahle. It's a really very cool car and I'd love one.
