For previous year you can write logic like Year(orderdate)={max(orderdate)}-1 Or Datediff('year',orderdate,{max(orderdate)})=1 Or Datediff('year',orderdate, {fixed: max(orderdate)})=1

for Yoy calculation we have take previous years sales also upto current data only?

Practice different scenarios

You have the Sample Superstore data. Now, you can choose any measure. You can use discount, profit, quantity, or sales. Just choose one measure. Design a dashboard for the end user where you are making a provision for the end user to give the input. Now, the user give the input as month and year and when used give the input as month and year, your dashboard should show me, for example, you're taking the measure as sales. So, when the user is giving, say, for example, December, the dashboard should show the sales for the three consecutive months. That is December, November, and October. At any point of time, when user choose a month, it should show that particular month M, M-1, and M-2. Only for three months, it should show me the data. This is one of the interview questions asked to me. Can you create a video on this?

can you add more like make it for fiscal year april-march because most of the videos are for jan-dec and if possible add previous year month also it will be interesting dashboard. and i like the way you teach sir always us what will be the output of written condition inside condition this way we understand how it works and helping us to develop logic thank you sir.@@TechiRahul
