I am 27 .. i had MG since i was 9 years old .. i am everyday worrier fighting MG. ! I am on medication but i am living perfect life. I am an engineer go to work everyday and mother taking care of child and i go to the gym everyday !! Love life, stay positive ☝🏼

Your KZread is fun to watch and I appreciate your efforts of the video. I am weak with MG I have difficulty breathing and swallowing. I have extremely droopy eye lids. I am 70 years of earth. I have a mobility dog named LuLu. She is wonderful for me, sometimes she helps me to stand up. I work, too. I assist veterans in filing their claims for disability service-connection. I am the founder of a job that now has many people working at this for our veterans. Knowing that you are a suppoort group for me to see and hear...happy for it.

Im 30 years old. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis last month. At first I thought my weakness was the 30s "hitting me hard". But when it got to my breathing, my chewing and my swallowing, I knew something was wrong. I am glad to have the neurologist I have, she has helped me be better, even though the weakness still prevails, Mestinon has made me feel better. And this video made me feel like Im not alone, and that Im understood. I eish I lived over there to go to those meetings!

How they diagnose you? Because my doctor couldnt find what is wrong, we thought it is narcolepsy..weakness is so huge it paralized me, and i Lost mouth muscle control, i hope you are better❤

Be confident. I told the neurologist I had this, of course, they always leave room for doubt, but I nailed it. She and I were joking about how right I was afterwards. Make sure your doctor is supportive and sympathetic too. That helps out a lot!

This picture is not me, I share a Computer, I believe I have MG. I was 36 years old when my health took a drastic turn. I had two children with birth defects, had to use a collar during pregnancy to support my neck. One child died after birth due to his heart being on the wrong side. I have struggled for 40 years with nerve and muscle problems but no blood testing or Thymus testing. I have bone cancer also a Bcell Lymphoma. I knew to see Neurologists, was wrongly diagnosed and sent away. (Gullien Barre)sp. I live in NCentral Florida and have gone to a "good doctor", meaning muscle and nerve who only did strength testing without considering my other symptoms and studies such as 3 abnormal brain Electrical studies. Obviously I need a MG Specialist. Where to go based on old studies? JFH

And you were never tested for multiple sclerosis?

Hi I am having MG for about an year. its now under control but it does sometimes show up.... I'm worried and not sure whether having MG will be obstacle for me to conceive ..

Check with your neurologist if you qualify for an operation after remove of the thymus please ask questions to you neurologist

This was well done, but should have covered symptoms.

stay positive.. for me, during my pregnancy i was doing better because I don’t get my period which usually make my MG worse .. nd i delivered my baby as a piece of cake .. stay positive!!

Hello.. I can appreciate your post in reference to MG. You got it right that you need help to fight, except you don't want to fight with it you want to fight IT. Also, if you were diagnosed 6 years ago, I would hope that you do realize that there is NO cure for this disease. There is treatments and medications but NO cure as of right now. SO.... If you are hoping to get cured I would hope that you have read or your doctor is educated enough to help you understand the fight not the imaginary cure.

I am so scared. I am afraid I will die from this disease.

You need to see the neurologist who will look for the treatment that suits you, because you could be leading a normal life with the correct treatment.
