Maddie is great but in reality, although she was a guest 'judge' on SYTYCD-TNG, neither she nor the other 'judges' actually did any 'judging'... all that was done and dusted when the auditions were over (before Maddie joined the panel). What she and they did was critique and/or advise where necessary, and praise where it was deserved. Maddie, then (and now), was more than equipped and qualified to do this, but it is hardly the same as judging a competition. *_{:-) R._*

It's so hard not to forget that Maddie is only 14. When she gets on stage and dances it is so clear and evident how she puts her whole heart into what she does and she loves doing it. She is an incredibly mature and beautiful dancer. I can't wait to see more of her as she gets older.

Maddie danced this contemporary piece so beautifully and with so much power, i wish she did more comtemporary of this kind because it suits her age and shows what a mature and great dancer she can be. I've never been a diehard Maddie fan but this dance blew my mind, i love it and it's between my favorite dances of her

One of the few judges actually talently (if that's a word) qualified to judge another similar talent. I really love Maddie.

Maddie Shukla this is so true she has musicality and perfect performance presence she really hears the music and uses in her performance she uses her face and acting abilities like non other I've seen like Kalani said there something very special about Maddie and knowone can take her place she was also voted one of the top ten smartest celebrities last year BELIEVE it or nit this really helps in her dancing and all she does she was also voted by time magazine as bing one of 30 most influential teens two years in a row there was alot of special people on that list so she is very lucky and amazing in everything she does I'm sick of all the Maddie haters out there jealous of a girl who works her but off and always has since the show started she never complained about how hard the work was and she even took privates to get more work in when I was dancing it was smart to do privates knowone looked down on you and thought you were cheating a rumor Christi started of course my teammates all tried to get in privates when I was 26 I got into a horrible accident and can't walk now I'm paralyzed from my mid chest down I have used of my arms but it is so hard I only say that because people have been making fun of my typing and not using punctuation it's hard enough for me and it's just for fun and Maddie does and always has had from age 8 good technique Chloe had those long dancer legs and sometimes I think just that made her look better but she wasn't better than Maddie and she wasn't a hard worker the first season she wanted to quit because it was too hard and too much until Abby talked her out of it and she only bear Maddie at nationals by a 10th of a point and I think Maddie was better and she won the next year and the next she even should have won that time against available how never beat her before her dance was flawless avas dance was not that good I mean MacKenzie beat her also Abby screwed up by having her grandmother opening the same week as nationals but judges do make mistakes they get bored they look down alot and doodle or write things on there paper instead of really watching idol some local judging so I know they make mistakes like Kalani said we don't have to win all the time but we deserved you win this time which is true Rachel Cole not Kenneth Cole

That is why she was voted by Time magazine as one of the most influential teens in the country 4 years running! That's because she is a good role model ! I agree. I think Abby kinda pushed her out though. Abby was hurt when Maddie started branching out and doing her own thing (w/o Abby) and started lashing out at Maddie and her mom. Their decision to leave was smart...she left before Abby could totally turn on her for just growing up like she did with the rest of the girls.

MY take on the girls leaving was that Miller tried to muscle in on their success by trying to become their agent and raking in a (overly large?) percentage of their income, and their mother, and (more likely) their stepfather &/or Sia, advised them to leave ALDC and Miller, and seek proper professional representation with a proven track record and the necessary connections and contacts in the music, music video, and movie & TV industries. And let's face it, who in their right mind would have a wannabe freeloader like Miller managing their finances, especially with her 'accounting' record!? *_{:-) R._*

Robin Garvin-Mack she had always been their agent. People largely believe that their relationship started breaking because Mackenzie almost got sued for making a song with someone out side of her contract and they brought Abby into it because she was Mackenzie’s manager. They said Abby said the contract would have made more money than it did and basically it turned out to be an ill advised decision to sign.

this is the first i've seen maddie dance since she left dance mom's, and omfg she did AMAZING work, especially for a partner dance, i remember how on the show partner dances were always the hardest ones cause everyone is so used to doing solos and pretty lyrical and contemporary dances, i think this is one of her best dances so far. and by best i mean seeing her doing her own thing best.

She is basically the lead but all the dancers are amazing ! Brian Friedman was asked to do that video by the artist and to have Maddie in it ,die doesn't compete anymore she hasn't since she left Abby! She went on a world tour with Sia and danced for an hour and a half straight that's stamina! She did that almost every y! Of course she was being payed, and for all the A list videos she did with her too ! She has done other videos ,she is now considered a professional dancer! So that one girl that said she can't judge because she is only a competitive dancer can go to hell! Obviously they haven't been watching her career! She was voted by TIME MAGAZINE as one of 30 most influential teens for 3 years in a row now , that's pretty impressive! Time magazine also wrote an article about the ten richest teens and Chloe wasn't on the list! Maddie was and she is worth almost 9 million dollars at 15 years old ! She also just got signed by 3 different modeling agencies! She finally finished her recent film with Kate Hudson where she plays a lead role as a autistic girl coming to theaters soon! This film could make or break her as an actor, because it's a very controversial subject! I think she will pull it off ,she did an awesome job with the character of Christina, I was in a simular situation as the character so I can tell you she played it perfect! She has done so much with her career in such a short time I think alot of people are jealous or don't think she deserves it ,but she does she made herself a star! Yes ,she was on the show ,but Sia picked her and not through Abby, which she dislikes! She got ahold of Maddie herself and then her mom ,it nearly 2 days they were in California! They gave her 4 days to learn the dance and did she learned it in 3 hours , what a pro ! That's one reason I like her he is such a hard worker and has gotten so far with what she had ! If she would have been in the same studio as Kalani and Brynn can you imagine how good she would be ! It's a shame that Kendall and Chloe have regressed so much ! Chloe basically dances like she did when she was 9 years old and they both looked like beginner dancers on the irreplaceables tour! Biggest waist of money, but my grandkids wanted to go ,do my daughters dance I took them did the entire package which was crazy expensive! I can't believe they made us pay to meet them and get a picture! Kalani needs to quit before it ruins her career, she is dancing down to watered-down choreography with Chloe and Kendall who dance so poorly! Rachel Cole

Something I think that is underappreciated in watching this, she's a very specific with her compliments. She doesn't just give out platitudes "like that was great, I loved it." And leave it at that. Everything she says is unique and specific to the dance and the person.

She's grown so much, and she has majored and is making her way in the world. As she takes on new projects its nice to see her grow and learn as she goes. It really shows her thick skin and determination. When Maddie dances shes strong, emotional and so beautiful. She has inspired so many people to do so aswell and is a icon.

Her dancing skills are perfect? I also teach dance and i know that. Her technique is flawless and above her age, when i see kendall dancing than i see good movements but no emotions and she dont have the same power. Her movements are too soft, but maddies movement are precise and still very feminime. Thats so amazing

bert1029 why would her being a dance teacher matter if she commented on this video- she's saying it because she can, dance moms was a bit part of maddie's life and she was constantly hated on and criticised for being the favourite because people thought that the other girls of were better but they weren't and this dance shows that
