Y’all gotta change you game sliders and penalty settings and play in all madden. My games super realistic and hard. And my online w/L is crazy good. So playing a hard real computer has been fun and all stats are close to real

@@pesta6024 but that’s the gameplay part. This is the sim engine where you can sim the games and focus on team building. If you want to win a super bowl with any team that is bad in real life you have to switch the playbooks in madden no matter how good your team is. Also the Cowboys and chiefs make the bowl almost every year which I guess is fine for the chiefs but it’s not when they still make the bowl 15 years from now and the Cowboys ain’t doing shit in the playoffs in real life and in madden are basically unbeatable in the playoffs and are not great in the regular season compared to the post season. Plus it shouldn’t be that you have to change the sliders because the game shouldn’t need more tuning to be realistic

Usually because you got touch before out of bounds then ouch out by the defense, Madden registers when you go out and not when the CPU punches you out while trying to gain yards. MOST OF THE TIME! Not all lol

I figured it out. As long as it's not inside 2:00 in 2nd or 4th quarter it'll continue to run. If it's inside it will stop

I never trust the clock,sometimes the clock seems to stop then when u select a play it fast forward

Madden also never calls pass interference when defenders literally Body receivers out of position to catch the ball so their Free Safety buddy can dive and intercept the ball

OBJ had the clock keep running because he was touched by a defender, then went backwards… meaning forward progression stops the ball inbounds and the clock continues to run. If he wasn’t touched, he would’ve been out of bounds and clock stops.

There are numerous things to make complaints about in madden, but the example he just gave in that video is kinda petty and unnoticeable anyway and as you said, wrong

i got called one time in 24 for chucking a pass out of bounds while running trying to a avoid a sack it was my first time getting called for intentional grounding in the game since i bought it

there’s also the illegal forward pass, the rule is if no part of the passers body is behind the LOS it an illegal forward pass but in madden if any parts over the line it’s illegal

I lost the game the other day because of this. I thought that the clock would still run. My guy got the ball back and won on a fg

The reason why the clock didn’t stop is because contact caused him to go out. Arm contact in obj case

That’s not the rule. An offensive player’s forward progressive must be stopped by a defensive player for it not to stop the clock (the cardinals player pushing obj). Willingly going out of bounds will always stop the clock even IRL

Thoughts on madden 24 I think it’s worse than 23 because out of bounds doesn’t always work if somebody is mid tackle and the speed flex and axiom bug out and helmets don’t fit right on custom characters

In Madden showdown, you are allowed to lateral the ball 20 yards forward so long as you initiate it while they are behind you

Most games that are against the star QBs the clock doesn't stop when it should. Ive seen incomplete passes still run down the clock against people like Brady, mahomes and Prescott

Also.. if ur receiver or TE spam receives the passes, the AI makes the. Drop random Catchable passes

My clock runs no matter what unless a time out or 2 minute warning happens, but going out of bounds makes the clock still run

You have to be making forward progress while going out of bounds for the clock to stop. If you run backwards out of bounds it won't stop. If your being tackled going forward and get pushed backwards it will stop because you were still making forward progress unless you turn away from the defender and run backwards out of bounds

The way characters run is so NPC and not real. They need to upgrade it

Did YOU know, that Madden will disable your ability to challenge an obviously missed call in the most petty, critical, cheating, ridiculous way possible?

Programing issue...the amount of scripts to make backward run vs forward run would require a lot of scripts to have the computer determine if the clocks stops or not. Easy to just forget it.

Madden needs to take notes

People don’t understand how hard it is to actually code a game the way madden and GTA do it it’s so hard. ( I know this cause I’m in a coding class) but it takes so much so stop saying all this if you can’t even do it

Coding a conditional statement where the difference in yards is negative and the time being less than a certain value to trigger the clock to keep moving would take most developers one day max to implement . Madden is just lazy lol

There was more than two minutes on the clock so that’s why the clock kept running for OBJ?

That’s not the only thing it gets wrong. It’s gets forward progression wrong too. If I cross the 1st down marker and get pushed back it’s still there is no 1st down pick up. yet it does give the CPU forward progression. Weird
