I'm not one of those who thinks Saitama can beat everyone, but in what way can Popeye stomp him? I can think of one thing Popeye has done that would even suggest that. Honestly, I'd be more on board if it was Popeye vs Turles, fruit from the tree of might vs spinach. Granted, Popeye would probably lose that fight too unless it plays out to where he gets a piece of that fruit and mixes it with his spinach.

@@heatherrausch6085 offensively, he deflected a star level attack casually, if you use a specific version iirc. It was the webcomic I think. Defensively? He took hits from Boros who in his normal form could smash apart his own ship, which tanked Saitama jumping from the moon onto the ship in seconds. So not that impressive defensively, offensively is the only part that could be considered close.

@@polarwind1097 I haven't yet read the webcomic so my info on Saitama is mostly from Season 1 of the anime so I might have missed some feats. From my understanding we have not seen a real upper limit on Saitama's stuff and the strongest opponent shown has been Boros, who I think caps out at planet level stuff or maybe star? Pop-eye does whatever the artists think would be cool when he has his spinach, leading to some ridiculous feats, the sun lasso thing was just the first thing that came to mind.

I can only imagine Biff's face when Nem said it wasn't gonna be Popeye vs Saitama next XD

I'm with Biff on how much I love Hollow Dreams (the fight track). I especially love how they worked in parts of Dangerous Gaze (the Sasuke vs Hiei track) into the melody. I think it's the first time a battle track has made reference to a previous one on the show

How many of Aizen’s forms have been animated? Making custom models for all of the ones missing would be a real coin flip. Otherwise, Madara is the only one changing his forms.

Maybe but at the same time, they probably would've been a bit limited at the same time when it comes to certain abilities and attacks that would just work much better in sprites, while Aizens forms would've been harder to get and expensive to make since there's not much of his forms out there, either way if the SFM team did I'm sure it'd be pretty good regardless

The oh god no when Saitama was shown and one of them was thinking “oh god not one punch man vs Deadpool” and the joy that it was fricking Popeye in the finale is just awesome

My inner Naruto nerd came out at 16:55 and just to be that annoying kid. Naruto does have guns, we see a shop keeper have one in Chapter 19 in fact. Meanwhile Naruto just a few chapters moved so fast two grown and healthy adults couldn't see him walk past them, pick up a grown woman, walk her away, and turn around, faster than speed. Later when his Chakra is all messed up an attack that pulverized the ground barely bruised him. Guns are trash in Naruto.

If you got something high end, like a gun for sniping, you should be able to take down normal Genin and maybe low Jonin but that's it. You just flat could never hit Kakashi and Guy would probably just stand there and thank you for the massage.

As someone with no exposure to either series, and hence didn't care about the fight at all: this was a real fun one for me. Not Dio vs. Alucard or GB vs. RF levels of fun, but definitely fun

My main issue with the fight is how out of character aizen is He ain't gonna be the one that's gonna engage in a fight with someone he knows shit about And if he would start the fight then in that case he would've been aware of all of madara's tactics

To be fair, I would consider Goku Black vs Reverse Flash to be a pretty easy fight to predict for RF, but that was still one of my favorite episodes of the season next to Alucard vs DIO. I think this next one is gonna be fun and infinitely more interesting than any other matchup for saitama, even if it is a stomp

Because 1 yottaton is 1000 zettatons they calced the Soul King's feat at 155 zettatons, but they calced Madara's tree feat 1 yottaton or 1000 zettatons, meaning Madara's feat is over 6x larger

I think the only way saitama vs popeye is not gonna be a stomp is if they lay very literally with the "saitama has never shown his peak or has gotten exhausted". I would just like to point something out Aizen in Hueco Mundo was speed blitzing proven ftl characters (Characters who moved faster than characters who were as fast as characters who dodged LITERAL light. Not something called light, actual light) He then proceeded to evolve to a point that his power was so vast it was so inconceivable to characters near his former power that they could no longer sense it.. Note that Yammy sensed normal humans And this somehow leaves him still barely ftl? Questionable at best

ekhm TSB doesn't null regen it stops jutsu from functioning TSB shouldn't even have soul destroying properties even if it did doesn't put aizen down when the bleach verse already has already demonstrated soul destruction and has way better feats and scaling. Edo madara would've perished if Aizen zanpakuto(soul cutter) hit him once did DB address how madara soul and body didn't get EE'd once Aizen reached any level after chrysalis stage? did they even mention reikaku the shinigamis sixth/spiritual sense? and iirc even with the sharingan u can still be placed under illusions and you personally need to break out of it, ironic they didn't give aizen his muken form when kyoka becomes a passive and he can cast hado 90 instantly with the spacetime atomisation effects. not my stance but if you take the highball interpretation of kyoka working against Yhwach, madara illusion resistance becomes fodder. also if you know anything about genjustu unequalise energy and it becomes moot. i've mentioned it before but "normie scaling" aka DB: just make there stats relative, madara has more versatility and hax he wins don't elaborate further on there mechanics or how they operate like that makes me appreciate this site so much more.

So as far as using the god tree to scale Madara’s max power, does that work? As far as I can recall, the tree largely grew on its own, and even when Madara absorbed it later on he only got the portion cut off by Naruto’s lava rasenshuriken, which would be minuscule compared to the entirety of the roots in the earth.

Ichigo never saw Aizen's sword so he was never put under hypnosis to begin with when he arrived. All the other Captains did so they were put under.

They didn't. No one has or at least is confirmed to have too. He wanted a challenge and never actually used it on the mc.

@@ivanbackfromthecardshop8093 That is both correct and incorrect at the same time. Ichigo never saw Kyoka Suigetsu so he was not under the spell. On the other hand, the captains were taken out fairly easily because of Aizen putting them under his Kanzen Saimin. The entire reason why Aizen demolished the Captains and Lieutenants was a mixture of him tricking Hitsugaya into believing he stabbed him when, in reality, he stabbed his friend Momo and just his overall power.

oh yeah saitama is screwed. apparently popeye is immune from being erased, is immortal, has toon force, regeneration, was able to pull the sun, heck hes even faster than saitama since popeye can get to the moon from earth in 2 seconds. Hit Bluto so hard that he destroyed stellar constellations, deconstruction, dimensional travel (breaking the fourth wall and likely a gag/parody character by that point) hypnosis apparently?, resistent to mind manipulation, limited duplication, survived his universe being erased from existence, manipulation of different elements like lightning, ice, and fire, magnetism, fusionism, matter and sound manipulation, shapeshifting, magic, clairvoyance, age manipulation, can reflect attacks, can survive in space, and size manipulation. how in the world is saitama suppose to beat that. and we thought korra vs storm was a stomp

I can easily see what death battles gonna do to give saitama the win. Pretty sure someone can agree with me on this.
