This speech of Madara is one of the big reason apart from him being so strong why He become one of the most loved villain in Anime history. True peace can only be earn in dream because thats the only place where all desire comes true. In reality, you struggle because you have desires to achieve. If you achieve them, you feel joy for a moment then move to achieve more desires, if you not achieve them, you feel pain. War happens when your desires conflicts with others.

I sure hope you also see what happends in the anime - It is not wrong to have winneres and loseres. What is wrong is that we do not aknowleagde otheres and their losses. We all have to die at some point there fore there is no point in denying we will loss someday.
