If you've already heard one version, it's not easy to still be open to an alternative new version. But I will give it a try. The voice is excellent. No distracting show around it is good too. My problem is that the song needs wisdom for credibility. That usually means an older age to look back at the past life. Learning the lessons and prepare for post life. I admit, not every old person is wise, and sometimes very young people are further along than others (Greta Thunberg, for example). Call me limited and unfair, but I think in 10 years she can make it even more impressive. It's my humble opinion.

Legendary Group, legendary song from the 80s and this is an amazing rendition of this song. Great arrangement, slowed down a bit, but so beautiful and really like her voice. Great delivery and amazing tone in her voice.

I try to do this one day per week for a while now. It´s just sick when you see how the world around you act nowadays. And that´s coming from a tech nerd like me :D We move into a very bad direction if we think about social contacts. Funny thing is that the Covid pandemic brings up a little bit of an illusion that this could be a good thing. But it isn´t. We already have a lot of lonely people cause of that and it will be even more in the future.

I immediately loved this song when I heard Tears for Fears original back in '82. The Gary Jules cover conveys a level of loneliness that's heartbreaking. But Thompson's cover is incredibly emotive, yet subdued and poignant.
