As a young Hamilton scumbag in the early 2000's, Mad Mike and Fursty was king scumbag. Even though I never met him his reputation was legend at that time. It's so great to see him go on to succeed on the world's stage from those days when the rest of the world was basically on another planet.

Remember seeing Fursty around Mt Maunganui and Tauranga back in the day. Iconic car even for non rotary fans back then. Can’t wait to see Mike thrashing it on the track.

As a kiwi watching this do stand stills in his drive 20yrs ago its awesome to see his and this cars journey. Impeccable build quality as always with him and his team but would love to see it just blue with the original stickers, but I spose that's cos I love the old filth like this haha

I uploaded an old video from 2003 of this car skidding at a skid competition in Merermere New Zealand. Old / terrible quality, but worth a quick watch to see this car how it used to be.

Mike's one of "the few" in motorsport than i consider living legends, whatever they are doing. KB was (and still is) another one. There's people like them that just, i don't know, radiates the spirit of motorsport i guess... We're so lucky to have them. Oh, and Larry is also one of those legends, of course !!
