Stunt man be like: WITNESS!
How this film didn't win a VFX Oscar is beyond me. So many big stunts done for real with some really clever compositing & rig removal to make it seem incredible.

Gone are the days of buying DVD or BLURAY to watch behind the scenes or chat with the Director.
I can understand why George wanted to film Furiosa in a garage with green screens, I’d be trying to get indoors after creating something this magnificent, filthy, noisy and complicated at his age, too.

not just that, but I'm pretty sure WB had issues with how troublesome this shoot was. I could see them forcing George to rely more on VFX over practical effects as a result for Furiosa and (possibly) The Watseland.

thanks for posting , that was great !!!
It’s amazing ❤
Respect again to the team of fury road after watched Furiosa. Story of Furiosa wasn’t bad, i personally felt a weight of passion of these two films are too different. Still love them both but hope next Mad Max will be same team as Fury road and they will build actual Cars / motorcycles and plus CGI. Not just few real vehicles with fully CGI. It’s huge difference between them. And Max come back please. If you guys make a documentary movie of BTS of fury road, I’m happy to pay to see in the cinema. I would love to see all mechanics works how they build these beautiful vehicles and design works of Peter Pound. Stuntman, driver, flame works. Filming, CGI. Whole team is just ART.
And that is why Fury Road is such a badass great movie!! Practical effects is the way to go....all the time!
Wowww just wow👏👏👏
Those vehicle are not just vehicles they are carefully crafted character or sculpture. ❤️❤️❤️

True, the close-up shots are fine, but the CGI is mostly understanding in the distance shots , Take for example the scene in the trailer itself, the scene where a group of bikers are riding
Mad max fury road is far better than mad max saga... didn't match the expectation especially the ending. We need mad max fury road 2.0
Where is the other like button?
OH man...no comments.
Unfortunately, I need rock music in any fight scene
I am really, really hoping they didn't cut corners with Furiosa by replacing practical effects and stunts with CGI. I know parts of it as still practical, Chris was even posting insta shots of him on location with the bikes, but for a lot of the shots in the trailers involving larger vehicles everything had that very smooth, shiny, and overall fakey appearance of CGI. It looks like things take place in some big sets such as the bullet farm, so I cant knock them for using CGI there, but current appearances make it seem as if some corners were cut and it won't continue the Mad Max legacy the same way. I'm really hoping I'm wrong though.

Actually, most of the driving and shots of that nature are all real as well in furiosa. Only a select few things are full cgi. For instance, furiosa's robot arm is cgi. But all the stunts are real like Fury Road. George Miller uses cgi to enhance his films. Once bts comes out for furiosa we will see.

Fury Road is also full of CGI
@GotA-do4ob
27 күн бұрын
@@TheMovieRabbitHole Fury Road was minimal though. There are the big action pieces like the storm and of course Citadel is CGI as well as Furiosa's arm, but it appears to me that many of the vehicles (such as the war rig, plus others) and scenes in Furiosa have been filmed on a sound stage or added in post production. I'm hoping I'm wrong and it is just something with the editing of the trailers but I have a feeling Furiosa has a lot more CGI than we have seen in any Mad Max project and at this point I'm not stoked about that. I'm sure I'll still like the movie, but it won't feel as special.
@supercard9418
27 күн бұрын
@@GotA-do4ob No, Fury Road had a lot of CGI---just compare this video to the movie, you'll see that things like Morsov's death explosion or the cars + people when The People Eater's rig blows up were CGI'd in in the final movie. The difference is, it looks WAY better in Fury Road because of the cinematographer, who was able to "hide" the VFX better in the shots. Furiosa has a different cinematographer, who worked on movies like Warcraft and the 300 sequel, and it shows in the Furiosa trailers.
@supercard9418
27 күн бұрын
@@GotA-do4ob Plus, a lot of the vehicles in Fury Road were also filmed on a sound stage. There are plenty of behind the scenes photos for that. And like I said, many of the vehicles in the Fury Road chase scenes were CGI'd in---there's a video showing how the shot with Max swinging on the pole back to the War Rig was filmed over an empty desert, and the background cars were added in post. The more you know :)
