What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is just a fancy name for a tingly or calming sensation caused by different sounds/visuals that we call "triggers". Most people have their favorite type of "triggers" that help cause the sensation. Whether it be visual like lights moving, hand gestures etc. or sounds such as whispering, soft speaking, tongue clicking and more. ASMR typically will cause a tingly sensation in people that starts at the head and moves down the neck and to the shoulders. However, if you don't experience this sensation it doesn't mean ASMR isn't for you! ASMR is great for helping people calm down, de-stress, relax, helps with anxiety, depression, insomnia and so much more!!

@@pab1381 SCP started in 4chan in 2008-ish. The first SCP that was written was taken from a photo of a statue that an artist had done, and that was SCP-173, someone basically wrote a creepypasta about this very strange-looking statue. That spawned some other stories and it started to build up from that and so its own site formed and the lore is extremely flexible. There are some that are accepted as "canon" and "official" but it's a completely user-generated and run community so everything is pretty much just accepted. Some SCPs are generally harmless or even do good, like the teddy bear that can fix almost any injury or illness, but then there are others like SCP-173 that are considered very dangerous, so depending on what you're looking for it can just be a bit of fantasy or a lot of horror. It's just a fun collaborative world-building and storytelling community.

@@pab1381 It is the the greatest body of writing-by-committee to be conceived since the Bible. It's essentially a kind of story-telling format that the mostly-anonymous community use to explore horror themed ideas, and reach consensus on what gets incorporated into this ever expanding canon

Your mad doctor stuff is awesome! It's some of my favorite. I've never gotten "tingles" from asmr. When you did the shot in the head, that was the first time ever.
This was great. Everything was great from the way you looked into the camera and the ticks of your head movement all of it. This was awesome Shanny great job

I feel like, as the "patient" I'm still somewhat foggy, so I don't really struggle, and can only try to scream, or not look at her when she examines me. Plus it feels like she's feeding off my fear and anxiety, so she's mostly very gentle and tender when she's examining me, but her words are chilling. "They would be taking a *long, long... nap.* Shivers. And yet, I'm still so still and silent. Shanny, it's not easy to relax me like that, and give me nightmares, at the same time.

This video made me have an idea for another video you could make that’d be awesome and disturbing too, you could roleplay as a government agent and you could be “programming” the viewer to become a sleeper agent, listing off numbers and words and repeating it along with a brief mission to complete and orders to self terminate if compromised, honestly it’d be so cool!
