Is it true that surgery for macular hole can now be done by Lazer?
Mam how can it be said that secondary macular hole formation does not involve traction on retina as one of it’s causatives like the macular edema causes traction (vitreomacular traction with or without epiretinal membrane traction) ?

Secondary macular hole may also lead to involve traction as a mechanism but here we have a well defined reason for the traction to develop, like trauma or diabetics. Whereas primary is idiopathic traction without any specific reason
