very helpful.. thanks! is it possible to kick the macro off automatically when the sheet is opened without going to the top menu - EXTENSIONS >MACROS or using keyboard shortcuts ? I'm looking for a workaround when using the SHEETS app on my phone.

To reuse your macro, we suggest create a blank file where you have the macro and everything set up the way you want. Call it "Template" for example. When you need a new file, make a copy of Template, instead of creating a new totally blank file!
