Macron has ‘unleashed terrible forces’ on France following election
Author Douglas Murray says French President Emmanuel Macron has “unleashed terrible forces” on the country following the far-left’s victory in the recent election.
Mr Murray said it is the fault of Mr Macron for his “hubris” that riots broke out in the street following the election.
It comes after France’s far-Right party lost to the far-left in a shock election result.
“Paris is about to host the Olympics, what a sign to the world,” Mr Murray said.
“The world’s eyes are going to be on Paris and we see this … my belief is that political extremism can come from any direction.
“Macron has unleashed terrible forces and it’s astonishing for a man who glided into office on his alleged ability to sort of bring people together.”

I was in Paris in 2009 and the first thing I thought about it was that it smelled like human s#!t, urine and cigarettes. After working with a heap of French co-workers here in Australia since then, it has only got worse. It is tragic to watch France killing itself.

I'm glad I visited Paris years ago. I wouldn't set foot there for any reason. France may or may not be lost, but as of now, insanity rules la République. 😢
Paris is not safe enough to host the Olympics.
So thankful I visited France during the summer of 1977. Back when it had its French identity. We are both retired with substantial savings dedicated for world travel. We no longer have a desire to visit dangerous Europistan. European countries have lost their original individual identities due to the deceitful unvetted migrant invasion.
